With no menu for a price comparison I feel like I got ripped off when the final bill came. The food and service were fine but the bill was a shocker! Should have asked when ordering.Hard lesson learned.

My husband and I ate at Maca last night and were delighted with the cuisine. What an excellent addition to the Cabo dining scene. We opted for the 3-course dinner (which also included a delicious bread selection, an amuse bouche and complimentary dessert). The quality of the food and the presentation was of a very high calibre. It is expensive... More

I don't know what was going on this night but we were never offered a menu. Our server gave us two options, Chef's tasting menu 3 or 5 course. 3 Course was $60 and 5 course was $75. We opted for the 5 course because we had skipped lunch that day. The food was good, really good. Some of the... More

I dined here with my two cousins as the reviews about the tapas were very good. The place was not too busy on the Tuesday evening, and the greeter told us they just started a new concept of no menus - all chef's choice. We were game so were promptly seated. We were then asked it we would like the... More

Dined here some nights ago and it was the worst decision :( the food was really bad, the wine was over-price, and the service kind of lack of experience and looked liked they had no idea about the menu. they need a better description of the items on the menu. I usually try new places, but this one really disappointed... More

We just got back from Cabo and came across the Maca Restaurant while wandering the side streets. The chef was actually out in front of the restaurant and talked with us about there organic vegetables and fresh fish. We came back the next night with 6 guests.. We were greeted with big smiles from the staff and the chef came... More

We were eagerly anticipating returning to our favorite restaurant when we booked out vacation. Maca was a highlight of our trip to Cabo in January. Our return visit last week surely was up to our expectation. Our waiter, Luca, was attentive and eager to serve. His knowledge of the menu, somewhat abbreviated from our previous visit, was amazing. He also... More

We are at Maca last night as we wanted a change from the Mexican / American / seafood options - and here Maca has its niche. Excellent tapas menu for starters (ox tail / jamon / artichoke etc and large portions by tapas standards) and good quality mains with top class produce being used (the fish was excellent). The service... More

A nice atmosphere, well decorated and a pleasant change from a lot of the more typical menus. I am not sure how authentically Spanish it is but everything we ate was cooked well and tasted good. We had a nice bottle of Chilean red wine as only two Spanish on the list that night and both of these seemed very... More

This is a long coming review as we had the good fortune to visit Maca on July 23', 2013, to celebrate our anniversary. The place is quaint and pleasant, the service courteous, professional and efficient, the owner Carlos a find of a man, however, it all pales to the kitchen, heavenly!! Maca not only has the character of a Spanish... More
