I've eaten here many times and always had a very good dinner. I was less impressed this visit. Lovely place, comfortable and a great ocean view. The menu has gotten a bit tired, IMO. I really enjoy their family style items but getting them to prepare it for one was quite an undertaking. They did accommodate me, but the dish... More

When the bell captain says you've picked a great restaurant it is a good way to start the dinner adventure. The Thursday night crowd was a little smarter than we were because they had the totally open area filled up. We went up a level and the lack of moving air made the first hour pretty much an endurance test.... More

The Hacienda Cocina was amazing. From their pulpa appetizer to their skirt steak. Great Mojitos too. Also they have fresh, homemade tortillas! Our service was excellent. It's open air with a beautiful view of the habor. My husband and son and daughter were with me and they made something special for my daughter who is only 10. Highly recommend it.... More

I took my wife and granddaughters here for our final night in Cabo. I heard the food was good and the views were great. I have to admit the the restaurant was beautiful with great views of the water and the service was excellent. However, we were not impressed with the food. I had a steak with chile sauce that... I am sorry your experience with your meals was less than stellar. The traditional Oaxaca mole on the filet is a very complex sauce and very different and more savory than the more familiar sweeter moles. Sorry it was not to your liking. I had the opportunity to discuss the chicken fingers with the chef. They are strips of fresh... More

I had read about the Hacienda Ocean Resort in Travel & Leisure magazine so we decided to check it out for lunch. The open air cantina has great views of The Arch & all the water activities, is beautifully decorated with iron fixtures, oversized handpainted pottery, colorful pillows & a mosaic backsplash behind the bar. Hacienda Cocina & Cantina is... More

After a nice long evening, I sauntered into this joint with a spectacular hangover for a late breakfast. The menu had applejack pancakes, but they were out. I had the substitute papaya pancakes and they were something new and tasty. Nothing monumental or spectacular, but very good. Price was a little steep but the service was very good and view... More

Great food. If you're into Tamales they have a dish which features a total of three each made from a different delicious recipe. Drinks well made, full bodied. Prices not that far off the other Marina venues. Gated entry, beautiful grounds. If you're driving park at the Marina or heading south on the main drag turn left at McDonalds and... More

We had a late lunch here - the place was empty but they were very attentive while getting ready for dinner service. We had guacamole (as usual) and it is in our top 10. We also had the carnitas tacos and shrimp tacos. Both were delicious! Don't be put off by the raisins in the shrimp tacos they really balanced... More

Very nice place to dine. The view is extraordinary. The service was well above average. The sea bass was available in two versions. We had both. Top notch! Friendly staff. We recommend!!

We visited on a stormy day that finally showed some signs of sun. What a beautiful location and atmosphere. To get here you have to go through a front gate, but just tell the guard you want to eat at the restaurant and he'll open the gates to a well manicured resort. There were no beach tables set up due... More
