Authentic and Excellent

Los Ajos is located on the Main Street coming into Cabo San Lucas. It has an open air atmosphere and quite a unique lounge. The maitre de is one of the most personable and friendly people we have met in Cabo, his name is Jimmy. After eating there twice in December we decided for us it is truly... read more

We ate here for dinner on a week night. We were told by many locals that this was a great place to eat. There was only 1 other table of customers in the restaurant. The food was very bland. We ordered four dishes among our group and none were good. Edible but no flavor. I found a bone in my... More

I was attracted by Los Ajos' cute atmosphere (big loteria painitngs, frida kahlos stuff, etc) and it looked cozy. The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and even offered us some mezcal for free at the end of the dinner. The food in my opinion was only ok though. Maybe it's because we went on a Sunday, but the... More

We really enjoyed this place. My wife had chicken tacos and I had the shrimp molcajete. We started with the guacamole, which was outstanding. Our waiter was very nice and seemed to enjoy telling us about the various food preparations. Overall, it was a really nice meal and we will be back.

If your in hurry stop in and grab some quick take-out from the little buffet. From our experience it changed pretty much daily. Sundays brings great menudo and pesole.

I had a great experience in Los Ajos. While the authentic home style Mexican food was above average but not gourmet. It was authentic and We were the only none Mexicans in the place. But what impressed us was the service. When my teenage daughter refused to eat the food since she found real mexican food gross and was looking a wrap .The waiter... The food and service was good. The only issue we ran into was when we paid. We were given our bill then then decided to pay with a credit card. The lady in the office ended up swipping my card on another bill. Luckily I caught it right away and they backed out the incorrect charge and re-ran my card.

We used to come here (on our annual Cabo trip) and ordered a parrillada, a combination of grilled meats and veggies enough to feed four. This time (most definitely our last) the "meat" included a couple of hot dogs and mostly chciken...

This is the place to eat if you're hungry. Normally they have guys outside inviting people in, but they never told me about the buffet. Our hotel suggested this place to us and once inside, we realized they have a buffet. For one price you get all you can eat salad bar, different sorts of authentic mexican food, cooked to... More
