I love Mexico! I want real Mexico when I visit. Cabo is really touristy and the food is expensive. This place is one of the best local places for both food and service. Best seafood in town. Good pricing and strong drinks. L

Amazing seafood, stick to the Mexican tequila cocktails (not the place for Mojitos), amazing ice cream desserts that are served in the actual fruit with wonderful natural flavors

In our stay, this is the only restaurant that we visited twice. We were 2 couples and 5 kids under the age of 8. Loved it. It was not expensive. The reason we wanted to try it is that we say lots of locals eating there, which was enough reasoning to try it. Also, the service was great. This will... More

we ate here Wednesday night (8-8) and it was great! Its alittle off of the touristy beaten path but well worth it. This is a place that locals go to so you know its got to be good. We ordered the dinner for two and had to take some with us when we left.

Ive had my fair share of ceviche...i live by the gulf so i know a little about fresh seafood. But I'll tell you that the shrimp ceviche tostada and the fish ceviche tostada are the best and freshest ive ever had! The fish tacos are very good and everything was nicely priced. The steak is also very nicely done! Nice... More

Wow what a wonderful night. I wish I could have tried everything on the menu. The serving sizes were excellent. We had the smoked marlin tostada as an appetizer. I highly recommend them.

I dont understand why everyone told us to eat here. The food was very mediocre. Nothing special about this place. Although the waiters were very nice and the band came around and played different songs for us, there was nothing to write home about.

This was the 2nd time we ate here since it rates well and our other travelers had never been here before. The first time we ate here 2 yrs ago my husband & I shared the 3 different shrimp platter (sorry I forgot the name). It included the Imperial shrimp (which people rave about) but it was our least favorite.... More

This was our second time to Tres Islas and we still love it. You know when you are off the beaten path and the place is packed with locals that you are in the right place. There is nothing fancy about this covered outdoor dining experience. The drinks are yummy the staff friendly and the food wonderful. IMO the best... More
