Description: Welcome to 12 TribesCarlos Bonilla Souberbielle, our Executive Chef, would like to welcome you.The creative process applied to our menu will take you through a smorgasbord of flavors, textures and aromas that represent twelve different regions of Mexico; hence, our name. By understanding the local culinary culture of these regions, their ingredients and techniques, our chef creates a different perspective into what we call “Contemporary Mexican Cuisine”. By applying this understanding to his idea of Bohemian Cuisine – an unpretentious composition of different taste profiles – you’ll find a variety of different flavors perfectly balanced in each dish as you move from course to course. Simple appetizers will introduce you to the complexity of our main dishes, where ubiquitous hints of Mexico offer a new perspective on Mexican cooking. Of course, for a perfect ending, our decadent desserts are the perfect way to complement and truly enjoy your 12 Tribes experience.Thank you for joining us on this journey and….Buen provecho!

Tried this place for breakfast, lunch and dinner as we were staying at the hotel... disappointed each time the food and service was better at most places along the beach next door or set most of the places at the Marina... definitely was overpriced compared to the neighboring restaurants.

We had wine and a seafood platter for 2 which was fish and shrimp cooked different ways. I'd say it was a pretty good value. The service is very pleasant and there were no loud people or kids which was nice too!!

We enjoyed our dinner here and the nighttime setting on the water provides a nice atmosphere. Food quality was very good, but not a 5 star standard. Located in the Casa Dorada resort, it's a convenient spot for hotel dining.

Friday night Mexican buffet has such an amazing selection and the quality was superb. It is a bit pricey but it was worth it. Very nice setting as well, overlooking Medano beach and view of Land's End.

We ate at 12 Tribes twice for dinner during our 6 day stay in Cabo. From the senorita who seated us to the waiters, you couldn't ask for better service. The giant shrimp battered La Baja style were yummy. The filet was not as tender as in the US, but quite tasty. My wife even enjoyed the octopus ceviche appetizer,... More

The restaurant is one of our favorites in Cabo. Can't understand how, with such a big resort overlooking it, that every time we are here, there are only a handful of diners. The meals were fantastic. Two people had blackened salmon, one had chicken, and I had snapper. All were good and good value. The service is excellent. When our... More

Jesus the Chef has a wonderful variety of meals on the menu. Their half avocado filled with seafood and the lobster bisque was unbelievable. We followed the with lobster Thermidor. A Restuarant that is a must to try.

We loved having dinner at 12 Tribes- especially being looked after by Gustavo! He's amazing. We even went back just for dessert one night and got to dine with him again. Casa Dorada is lucky to have him.

To start we both had salads that was the highlight of our meal. Wedge excellent and decent size. Spinach salad tiny but tasty. Both ordered the grilled red snapper with grilled vegetables (I had a side of rice he had the oven roast potatoes). Both fishes were tough and over cooked. Hubby's potatoes had no taste and were dry.
