A tad too expensive

Five of us went for dinner. I had the shrimp Alfredo which was very good, not often you get shrimp so big you have to cut it up. The big thing here though is that you get one bill for your food and another for your drink and as someone before me said check your bill carefully. The drinks were... read more

the atmosphere is very lovely, twinkle lights in the trees, and dine under the stars. The steak and shrimp were some of the best I've ever had. Big portions too, enough to share. The service was excellent.

Beautiful outside location, lights in the trees, friendly staff, good drinks, best mariachi's we heard. Fresh catch was sea bass, cooked perfectly and a yummy garlic and butter sauce. Loco combo of pork verde, fish and chile relleno was great for two. Best fish we had in Cabo. Large menu selection. Its a bit expensive compared to other restaurants of... More

La Golondrina is one of my family's favorites when we return to Cabo each year. The stunning outdoor setting, the much-appreciated heat lamps and serapes, and the extensive menu are great reasons to give this place a try. The quick, excellent, friendly and attentive service makes for a most enjoyable experience. And to top it off, the food is prepared... More

We had great cocktails and ventured to read the wall of menu to make our selection. The local fare and menu was in addition to the broiled meat and steaks. My misgiving was the Chile Relino that was not properly prepared. The outer skin of the chile and the hot seeds had not been removed. It made for one heck... More

We've dined at this lovely little outdoor restaurant for several years. The food is good, the service solid, the menu inviting. However, when it comes time for the bill you best check it over carefully with a calculator in hand. For whatever reason, this establishment cannot do simple addition. I say this rather than be accusatory and state that they're... More

We have been to this restaurant many times over the years but would not return. There were just three of us this time and we ordered two house red wines and a bottle of water. It was starting to sprinkle and the roof is not waterproof so we decided to go elsewhere to eat. Our bill was $29 US ex... More

"La Golondrina" is one of the original restaurants of Cabo San Lucas. Set on a plot that dates back to the 1880's, this traditional (primarily) seafood restaurant can be relied on for professional service, very fine food, and a very relaxed ambiance in it's uncrowded, spacious outdoor premises. You are encouraged to "mix and match" combinations from their very wide... More
