Marlow's little secret is truly wonderful. Set in beautiful surroundings, and tucked away, it really is a place you could keep to yourself. The food is up there with some of the best food I have ever had. We (my fiance and I) were positioned in the Snug area of the pub, which boasts a log burning fire and delightful... More

We'd had a cold afternoon walking up ivinghoe beacon so decided a pub dinner was a good remedy on the way home. Service was quick . I had shin of beef, wife had Sunday roast and my daughter had a beef stew. All hearty filling dinners . Food was good . Prices fine for a gastro pub. Authentic surroundings of... More

This is one of my parents' favourites so my partner and I took the mother here on a Saturday night. The restaurant was fully booked but we were more than happy with the Snug. The whole pub smelt of amazing food, the fire was burning and Christmas decorations up. Fabulous atmosphere. Our very nice waitress sorted out drinks straight away... More

This is little Marlow's hidden gem. Quick and attentive service. Roasts were tasty and were served quickly. Has a lovely old feel about it.

My partner and I regularly visit The Queens Head in Little Marlow. I have never had a bad or average meal there. They are always range from good to fantastic. Recently I dined there with a friend and I had seared salmon on some sort of beetroot risotto or something. It was brilliant - I would say any so-called celebrity... More

Visited for lunch with daughter and two year old granddaughter - very child friendly but not childlike - Alice was able to share grown ups food which was of a high standard - the lunchtime menu was very reasonably priced

This was our first visit - it certainly won't be the last. The pub is situated in a lovely quiet location, pretty area to sit outside and traditional pub/restaurant inside. The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was absolutely beautiful and good wine to match. It wasn't cheap but well worth the money.

The Queens Head is in the delightful village of Little Marlow set up a dead end country lane. It looks traditionally english both outside and in, with the added bonus of decent food. There's the bar, a snug and the dinning room to eat in. We were there on a warm sunny day and finished our meal in the front... More
