Stopped on the way to Ashford for some lunch. Staff were friendly and the food was lovely. Three of us are vegetarian and they happily converted a meat dish we all fancied to be suitable for vegetarians. Would highly recommend.

Went for an impromptu dinner. Had the fish and chips special. Was brilliant crisp batter and nice rustic skin on chips. Thoroughly enjoyed it. They say it was Marlowe little secret yet it was quite busy for a Tuesday evening. Recommended

We wanted a relaxed light lunch in a lovely pub setting. This is exactly what we got. Friendly staff. Delicious food. Good surroundings. We chose to stay inside, but with the sun shining, and bench tables with umbrellas outside would be lovely. It is at the end of a cul de sac with plenty of parking. It feels calm, and... More

The lovely location of this pub certainly lives up to expectations, nearby a nature reserve and just outside Marlow. We visited on a beautiful, sunny Sunday and enjoyed a drink in the busy beer garden which had a nice relaxed atmosphere. It appears dogs were welcome too which is good for anyone wanting a walk. We went into the restaurant... More

First time we have eaten here and the last. Ordered the starter that should have come with onion rings and they were so small that you could not even put a finger through them, If that's what they were. The main was OK for my wife, no complaints there, but my Steak and Kidney pudding was hard, very dry, no... More

It was a lovely day and we sat outside. A very pleasant pub with nice, well looked after, beer. The food was very well cooked and delivered promptly. Some dishes seemed large (fish and chips) and some (pork belly) particularly small. I never understand how restaurants figure this out. No passing traffic and a good spot to sit and enjoy... More

Most pub restaurants in this area don't seem to serve food on Sunday evenings, so the Queens Head picked itself really, and we were glad it did. The menu is not extensive, but the food was all freshly prepared, beautifully cooked and presented, and good value for the standards achieved. A cosy traditional pub with a nice atmosphere, tucked away... More
