We were taken to this pub/restaurant by friends. Initial impressions were not good, as the staff seemed to have trouble finding a record of the booking, but we were soon seated and things rapidly improved. There was a nice simple, appetising menu and short but interesting list of blackboard "specials". The service was friendly and relaxed, but efficient. The food,... More

Very attractive old english pub with nice beer garden. We ate inside in a very pleasant pub dining room. Service was first class, good beers and wines and the food was above average.

Hidden away down the lanes this is pretty and traditional looking old English pub. It has a good menu featuring seasonal dishes and produce. A good range of fish, meet and some vegetarian options. Food is above average for pub food and definately gastro pub or better. I had on this occasion, beetroot with goats cheese which came beautifully arranged... More

The Queens head is a lovely old pub off the main road going into Marlow. It has a tasty menu at reasonable prices.I had beetroot frittata's with a chive and yogurt dressing plus a parmesan /balsamic salad (I preferred two starters). My friend had a steak sandwich in ciabatta with a salad. The puddings were homemade check out the rhubarb... More

I don;t want to give too good a review as we might find it hard to get a table next time! A quaint country pub offering above standard food and friendly service. We have been twice recently, once for dinner and once for lunch. On both occasions the food has been excellent. The chef offers consistently good produce - even... More

In an age of gastro pubs, the Queens Head serves standard fare - ploughmans, fish and chips, steak sandwiches. The portions are generous, but the quality of meat and fish is very average. The decor - carpets, tables, chairs - is decidedly scruffy. Good service.

We took some friends who live abroad here for lunch; we were all absolutely bowled over by the venue, the gardens and the warm welcome we received. Our meal was slightly disappointing; the starters were all good but the hamburgers were very over cooked and solid. We didn't have one but the desserts looked delicious! The Pub is simply delightful... More

As we often eat out with friends we were looking for somewhere a little different and chose The Queens Head in Little Marlow on its reviews. One of the party is Gluten Free and they were handed a regular menu, with a biro written notation of GF choices. These choices were dishes without chips, dishes without bread, dishes without wheat... Although there isn't much competition, there's a reason this pub is ranked #1 in Little Marlow: it's fantastic. Modern pub food with a twist. Good service, pleasant setting.
