The food was good, but the atmosphere was great! A really fun place for brunch on a weekend afternoon!

Went for breakfast twice, eggs benedict are really good, french toast is finger licking. Very friendly and fast service, the decor is very mexican fonda (small and walls full of decoration), a few blocks from the central plaza.

Yes, the service, like a pegasus, flying at the speed of light, was astonishingly fast. We were served at lunch, with a side of smiles and friendly jokes. Food was good, and i would definitly go back for a queso fundido and and some sopes for lunch in a hot afternoon. Only blame was they have only one high chair... More

A new friend introduced me to El Pagaso today, and am I glad! Great food, great service, wonderful atmosphere! I'll come back often. Not modern, don't expect a Ritz-Carlton. More like "comida casera" (home cooking!) in a home-town cafe. Not too pricey, and more than enough to bring home for supper. Be sure to save room for dessert; excellent lime... More

On a Sunday evening, we tried the chiles in nogado, thinking as it is their signature dish, we would thoroughly enjoy; however, the dish did not live up to our expectations, with too little sauce and too cool a temperature. By appearance, the restaurant has seen grander days.

if you want friendly service and to blend in with other gringos, this is a comfortable place to begin the day. For $15 pesos, expect the side of hash browns to be a fraction the size of what you'd get in US but this is refreshing. no need for waste. The poached eggs on a corn sope? was delish. Clearly,... Our family ate at El Pegaso on the afternoon of August 11. The restaurant was not crowded and most customers were waiting for a rainstorm to end. Our 6-month old was very hungry so I discreetly began nursing her with a blanket completely covering her from head to toe. The manager suddenly appeared and stood by our table for no... More

We come here every time we are in SMA and it is always wonderful. The food is great and the service is friendly, and the Margie's are the best!
