We stopped by this cute place when our intended choice was closed, but it was a nice find that I would revisit. My chicken was flavorful, the service excellent, and the decor very cute.

Charming little restaurant just a block from the Jardin, food is excellent and one of my favorite things is that they have an all-day breakfast menu. Owner/manager very friendly outgoing and helpful.

FIRST disappointing meal in SMA!!! I am not sure what posters are comparing "El Pegaso" too but 1 thing is for certain our lunch was under par! A complete send back! My husbands mahi mahi al vino blanco was very boring :( he had a bite and sent it back. The portion was ridiculously small. Refer to pic's. My beef... More

We had dinner here one night during our stay in SMA after reading the reviews of Tripadvisor. The service was outstanding (our waiter was friendly and funny) and the food good. We started with a Caesar salad which was made at our table (great entertainment :-)). This was excellent. My wife had the beef medallions and I had the pork-kabobs,... More

Pegaso is a great place - now with two choices - an upstairs terrace (which opened in May) and the traditional restaurant. The menu is varied and eclectic. The prices are inexpensive and the service consistently attentive.

Always come back to this restaurant while in San Miguel. An eclectic menu with a great range of items...Great soups, salads, tacos, & desserts..etc...Consistently good food and service. The waiters are excellent and super friendly! Friendly atmosphere...new roof top bar. The poached eggs on sopes are a personal favorite..._Perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner!! Great place!!

I've enjoyed El Pegaso every time I've gone. I like the rest of the menu okay, but in particular love their breakfasts. They have a benedict they serve on sopes instead of English muffins. Love it! By the way, a Caesar salad here is not romaine with dressing poured over it. Someone prepares it at or near your table in... More

Went in the morning to have breakfast and it was delicious. There was a 15 minute wait ,but it was totally worth it. We came back in the afternoon for desserts and drinks. The service was outstanding, and the waiter recommended a Tamarind Mezcal Margarita that blew my mind. Laid back and spacious setting, not as crowded as other rooftop... More

The tamales at El Pegaso are incredible! Light and flavorful, wrapped in banana leaves. The pozole was very good too. I would go back for either dish. Not so hot on the marlin tacos though. We thought they were very fishy tasting. Service is terrific.

Try the Chilis Negado! Truly awesome! Follow up with the Carmelized Pineapple dessert! Nice atmosphere right off of the center of town. My wife had the fish tacos and requested them grilled which they happily accommodated . My friend had the salmon which was just ok. We all enjoyed a nice lunch at this quaint restaurant!
