Great Pizza, Great Salads, Great Atmosphere

I find Pizza Pig a totally enjoyable experience. The people are very friendly. The site is charming and informal. The pizza and salads are delicious. It is a little difficult for me to access as I don't have a car and it is out of town. I try to go as often as I can.

We took a large group of 14 people in for pizza. No other customers that night. No sign of the owner which might explain slow service and burnt pizza. We have eaten several times at the old location and found the salads to be excellent and large portions.

So sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction. I wish that you would have brought it to the attention of our manager or passed by or called to discuss it with me. It has always been our policy to correct our mistakes or offer some compensation. We were unfortunately understaffed the night that you came in. Our main pizza maker had... More

Great Pizza and a nice venue about 5 km or so outside of San Miguel on the road to Dolores Hidalgo. Tim McCoy, the proprietor is a friendly, garrulous fellow who enjoys spending time, talking to his guests. His pizza is thin crust and savory - - the usual variety of toppings, but it makes an especially wonderful meal with... More

This place has a nice casual vibe. The service is great, the cokes are served very cold & in frosty mugs (can you imagine how good the beer must be?) The pizza crust is thin and crispy, yay! Thank you! The value is outstanding and i really appreciate it! I will definitely be back. www.pizzapig.mx

We went to the hot springs in the morning, we had some great time over there. After the day with the nature and hot water we were so hungry and a friend of us took us to have some pizza. The service is friendly and goes slowly but is the way life goes outside of San Miguel de Allende. We... More

Pizza is not necessarily my favorite food but the pizza at Pizza Pig was excellent. The crust was thin and crispy and the vegetable topping with anchovies was very good. I did not eat the dessert pizza but others in our party did and loved it. Service was slow but friendly. If it would be closer to the center of... More

Pizza Pig rivals the best pizza we have had anywhere! We had the pig - which includes sausage, bacon and ham - and we added mushrooms. The was an OMG pizza experience. Top it off with a desert pizza- also a serious YUM! Reasonably priced. Very high quality, clean, friendly, outstanding service. We will go back!

The arrangement with Pizza Pig is a little confusing. This is in the front, seemingly a separate restaurant. The half rabbit was plenty for two, came with rice and beans. Perfectly tasty, though nothing special. If you arrive around opening at 1 PM, be prepared to wait since it will take awhile for the grill to get fired up from... More

We had the use of a car for a week, and took the opportunity to drive out to this little enclave of porcine goodness. Had the fully loaded, all meat pizza and added anchovies & black olives for an extra charge. Thin crisp crust, properly blistered, a tangy tomato sauce and excellent house made sausage spiked with fennel makes this... More

Tim's experiance in running a restaurant is shown in the details here at Pizza Pig. Good service and wonderful Pizza almost like being in Italy ;>) My only wish would be if they could get a wine license as one needs a good red Italian wine to drink while enjoying such great pizza. Keep up the Great Work Tim!!! Best... More
