Best pizza in San Miguel. But there is much more be it breakfast, lunch or dinner in a casual, warm and friendly place. Can't wait to return. See you there!

When we first arrived in SMA, a local American expat raved about Mesa Grande. It's now definitely in the top five. Excellent wood-fired pizza with handcrafted dough. Something you'll be missing soon enough after trying what we've coined as SMA ''cracker crust'' style pizza. Mesa Grandes attention to excellent flavor pairings, fresh, local ingredients and variety beyond the usual Mexican... More

I love love love this place. I've tried the coffees and lemonade, a few breakfasts, a few lunches, and some of their marvelous pastries. Friendly atmosphere and good service. I have never been disappointed!

My wife and I shared a salad and sandwich at La Mesa Grande. It wasn't fancy, but good flavors and fresh ingredients. Would be a good place to eat solo too.

great selection of beers and food, very attentive waitstaff. We went there more for lunch but I've heard great stuff re: their breakfast as well. Desserts were delicious and we also bought some granola to take home to the US with us where we indulged in it later. Owner is also a very nice and approachable guy.

Ordered fried egg with bacon hashbrowns and toast. Food came without hashbrowns and mashed black beans which I hate and toast was dry with no butter or jam. Went to pay with visa which was displayed on their door to be told they don't take credit cards. Service was lacking. It is a pretty little venue but would not rush... More

While we were not as thrilled by this friendly cafe as others, the atmosphere is friendly. We had pulled pork sandwiches and there was no comparison with those we have enjoyed in Texas.

It can be a bit of a challenge finding food both you and you child enjoy. La Mesa Grande is a good fit for both. My 11 yr old daughter enjoyed her cheese pizza for one and I enjoyed my corned beef sandwich and beer. We finished it off with a latte and carrot cake slice. I think the pizza... More

...and a great place to sit and meet new friends. They are the one bakery in town that I find myself returning to regularly.

With high expectations and a good morning appetite, we visited Le Mesa Grande after reading the reviews and looking forward to eating here multiple times during our extended SMA stay. Perhaps we caught the café on a bad morning as the simple egg and cheese omelette we ordered was very dry, perhaps over cooked and without much flavor. Similarly, the... More
