Yum!

Great coffee and croissants - excellent pizza - truly wonderful atmosphere - very relaxed and somewhat communal, but also with the possibility of privacy. Nice place.

I've eaten here several times during my vacation to SMA. It has the best pizza in town. The dough is conditioned with sourdough yeast, cooked somewhat Naples-style in a wood oven. It's still their own unique approach, and it's totally delicious. They have a great artisinal beer selection here. Some good ones from Baja California are certainly worth trying --... More

We discovered La Mesa Grande when my wife was having her hair done around the corner. The food is mostly for lunch and breakfast although they do have a couple of Pizza nights during the week for dinner. The sandwiches are great. I had a BLT that was quite good. And I have tried a couple of other ones. The... More

We have coffee here many mornings. Never been disappointed in the coffee, eggs, or pastries. Very nice pasteries and the boy is also good.

We stopped there a few time while in SMA. Comfortable and casual, you can't go wrong. Friendly staff. I love chocolate croissant's, and I have to say if you want a pure and simple chocolate croissant, this is the best one I've had **anywhere**. The texture of the croissant is perfect, and its full of nice chocolate - every bite,... More

These guys have the best bread and pizza in San Miguel. I'm originally from a suburb of Philadelphia (think Little Italy) and I can vouch for good pizza! Only problem: go early or they may run out of bread!!!

La Mesa Grande is a wonderful place for casual breakfast and lunch. There are plenty of choices for vegetarians. My friend and I would linger there for hours, working (they have good wifi) and continually ordering food. I particularly liked the pizza and the fresh juices. We probably went here 4 times during a week's stay in San Miguel de... More

This place is closed on Sundays! We really wanted to try it so we headed back for lunch on Monday. My veggie sandwich was delicious and fresh with ice cold cucumber. The sandwiches came toasted which we did not ask for and it is not on the menu toasted so if you do not like toasted, let them know. Our... More
