With high expectations and a good morning appetite, we visited Le Mesa Grande after reading the reviews and looking forward to eating here multiple times during our extended SMA stay. Perhaps we caught the café on a bad morning as the simple egg and cheese omelette we ordered was very dry, perhaps over cooked and without much flavor. Similarly, the... More

I had a spinach and mushroom pizza for lunch today with a bottle of San Pellegrino agua minerale, and a Cappuccino. The pizza was very good as was the cappuccino. $200, pesos + tip was on the high end.

Best pizza so far in SMA and one of the few places that has microbrewed beer (albeit limited selection) if you are looking for something other than the Sol / Corona and their other branded beers. They are supposed to have draft beer but over June 2014, it has not been available. Have been there two times and could see... More

By far one of the best pizzas I have had, thin crust, crispy and wonderful sauce all cooked in a wood oven. Could not ask for more. Will be back soon.

Great Coffee, latte, American, or iced all were delicious! Two in our group said the French toast was the best they had ever eaten. No real surprise because their bread and croissants are delicious. The service was friendly and fast. The prices were very reasonable. Various parts of our group of seven visited La Mesa Grande at least 15 times... More

I had a sandwich here that was fresh and delicious. The couple next to me were sharing a pizza that looked very good also. The service is good here, and the atmosphere is nice for sitting and relaxing. They also had a small selection of tasty looking treats and pastries.I recommend this place, especially if you're looking for a casual... More

My wife was yearning for pizza and the reviews for LMG looked promising. The reviews were spot-on. They have a real wood-fired "horno". Great crust, interesting selection of toppings. Other things we saw being served looked equally as appetizing. Careful with the salsa they bring on the side. Muy picante!

Went with a friend for a late lunch, and we ordered pizza. Beautiful, and so tasty! We stuck w mushrooms and pepperoni, and some of the home-brewed beer. I'm a big beer guy, so have to say that was only average for home brew (much better than commercial beers). Pizza was really good, and I'll go back again.

Hi John S, Thank you for your review of our bakery + cafe. I just wanted to invite you back to try another of our homebrews... We had a bit of a problem with the keg of Pale Ale that I am assuming you tried, and it was only after serving a couple of glasses two days after we tapped... More

This is a fantastic spot for breakfast or lunch - wood-fired oven for breads and excellent pizzas. The also make craft beers. Could eat there everyday.

I had the pulled pork sandwich on my first trip here and it was delicious! On my next visit I had a BLT and finally tried their renown item, the wood-fired pizza – yum! I must have had half a dozen pieces over the week I spent in SMA. Of course with pizza goes beer, and they brew their own.... More
