Best xochitl soup!

I am writing this review solely based on my love for their xochitl (so-cheel) soup - it was THAT good. Basically a chicken broth with chicken pieces, tomatoes, avocados, and rice - had it with a coke. Perfect light lunch before walking around town all day.

This dish is just fantastic! I went twice in order to eat it!!!!! I ordered the combination with shrimp, cheese, chicken, etc. The sauce it cooks in needs to be scooped out and eaten too. Yum!! Now I need to try to do it at home since SMA is a long way. And, the live music in the evening ain't... More

On the northwest corner of the Jardin in space previously occupied by the Posada de San Francisco, Los Milagros opened a modern, colorful second restaurant. The Mexican menu is varied and the staff professional and gracious. Last night I enjoyed tampiqueña de res, skirt steak accompanied by guacamole, refred beans, pepper strips and chicken wrapped in a tortilla with mole... More

The setting is nice, and we enjoyed listening to the singer, but the food was awful. The fish in my fish tacos was undercooked, the quacamole tasted like overripe avocados, and my partner's arranchara was tough and tasteless. I had to check the photos to make sure this is the same restaurant that got such good reviews.

Very nice service from a young woman - very friendly and smily. The food was good and very filling - chicken burritos and beef fajitas, and the deserts were fantastic - mango ice cream and pineapple ice cream, both homemade and served in their respective fruits. There were lots of Americans there which apparently is normal, so this may or... More

I have been going here for happy hour for the past year. The drinks are generous pours, the botanas are tasty and generous and there is even a light meal included with the drinks. Two margaritas for 67 pesos and a light meal is a good deal. And the food is tasty. Carlos, the barman, does a great job -... More

We were wandering the city on our first day, with no plans, expectations or reservations. Since it was Christmas Eve, we weren't sure what to expect. We almost walked right by Los Milagros, as the restaurant entrance is tucked back a bit. We decided to have a late lunch/dinner. Hubby had the shrimp tacos and I had the chicken molcajete,... More

This is like the good reliable neighborhood restaurants you find at home. We had lunch of arracera and tacos de pescado. Both were quite good and quite adequately proportioned. The side salads were simple and so delicious because the grated carrots and sliced tomatoes had such good taste ( not the cardboard tasting stuff so often sold in US supermarkets)!... More

My husband and I had dinner at Los Milagros as it was recommended by the owner of the hotel we stayed at. The decor in the bar was interesting however the enchiladas I ordered I found rather bland, the salsa verde quite tart however the beans was very nice. The marlin taco's my husband ordered were nice. Perhaps my expectations... More
