I think it is really an excellent combination. A small gallery and the walls of the cafe filled with some very cool art done by Mexican and foreign artists at very affordable prices. Add on to that some of the best priced and best tasting food you will find in San Miguel Allende and you have success. The owners, who... More

As we made our way along through the Artesan market working up an appetite we came upon Muro's Restaurant and Galeria. It was wonderful. Food, service and pricing was great. We will go back again.

We went there for a special breakfast while in San Miguel de Allende because it was my husband's birthday. It far exceeded our expectations. It was a brightly colored and cheerful place to eat. The food was absolutely delicious. The owner/host was charming and so helpful. I love both red and green sauce and couldn't decide which one to have... More

Anything I can say here will be redundant, the reviews have been so good, but I would like to add my 2pesos worth. How has this restaurant eluded us? Having been repeat visitors for 10 years in San Miguel, I can only assume that we are not paying attention We have only recently discovered this little jewel and have nothing... More

This is an interesting and beautiful Mexican city about 3 hours from Morelia. It is very typically old Mexico with narrow streets, lots of little shops and beautiful churches. It has become very North American so the prices are high and the restaurants are great but also a bit spendy and have lost some authenticity due to catering to the... More

Well, we'd heard & read SO MANY laudatory reviews about this place that of course we had to try it ... sooner rather than later. Our visit clearly revealed to the four of us what all the fuss was about: it was about the "fuss". Apparently SMA residents & visitors respond more to a heavy dose of schmoozing & attention... More

We usually get the special of the day, a soup appetizer and desert with fruit water. Their melon fruit water is to die for. The food is always good and more than enough. We go more than once while in San Miguel because they are so nice and the food is fresh and tasty!

The owner who works in the dining areas is the best selling piece of this restaurant. The food is reliable, tasty and prompt. Always busy. Mostly foreign tourists.

Made reservations to have lunch at El Muro because I'd read good things about it. Arrived for lunch on Monday, really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, it was not meant to be. My daughter who suffers the occasional fainting spells had one of them just as we arrived. Every member of the staff was exceedingly kind and understanding. An ambulance... More

A darling "shaby sheek" restaurant. Very attentive waiters and host. The guacamole was delicious...and so was their cold avocado-cucumber soup - both made freshly when you order. We will return again the next time we are in San Miguel de Allende
