We come to Muro once a week and its always the BEST! Gerardo and Carlos are perfect gentleman, hosts, and owners. I love the tortillas stuffed with chicken and topped with a bean sauce, Spanish style sausage and avocado. My wife loves the Scrambled eggs with cactus and sausage. Both meals come with either fruit or chilaquiles and coffee and... More

Delicious breakfast (american and mexican) and attentive staff that speak English. Nice mellow jazzy music and art. Visit the store next door for excellent rugs and bed covers. I had the chilaquiles and added eggs for 70 pesos. No problem to custom order. Cozy bench seating with pillows and atrium ceiling for natural light. There are no store signs visible... More

Exceptional owners, perfect ambiance, fine Centro location near the Biblioteca and one instantly feels so comfortable here. Grat place for single travelers as all are so friendly. The coffee is the finest, " Cathy's Breakfast" when you are very hungry! Homemade jams/marmalade made by the owner and the prices are extremely reasonable for such quality and service. Exceptionally clean and... More

WOW! All That I can say is the staff is friendly and the service is top notch. The food is always great and very reasonably priced. Have the coffee as it is always brewed fresh just for you, it never sits. Don't listen to any negative comments on this place as we have never had a bad meal or service.... More

Small restaurant with delicious food. They have specials every day, and it's a 3 course special. The manager let us sample a couple of soups he had on the menu that we had never heard of before and we are going back to have some of those. He also brought out one of the vegetables that we had never heard... More

It is a nice place, clean enough, good service, and O.K. food. I don't have any real complaints but there is absolutely no reason for them to be #1. It is a perfectly O.K. breakfast place and one to visit if you are in town a couple of weeks.

Tucked into a little door on Loreto, I had walked by this perfect restaurant every day without noticing. Thank heavens for TripAdvisors sending this gem to the top of the of the list. Saturday lunch...Chile en Nogada with fresh pomegranate seeds for me, enchiladas mole for my companion. What a delight to find traditional Mexican food done beautifully with a... More

Great food. We noticed that pretty much 99% of the clientele was American. Tres leches cake is delicious.

We looked to Tripadvisor for recommendations while we were in San Miguel and Muro was at the top of the list. It turned out to be very close to our house, but we got there at 6PM to find that they are only open from 9 to 4. So we came back the next day. We were welcomed with a... More
