This is a restaurant which serves few gringos who seem to love places which are tailored for serving the expat population. El Correo has excellent food and wonderful service. it's a brief walk from the Jardin and when we were there we went to El Correo 3 times. Gets 4.5 stars in my book. It deserves to be reviewed on TripAdvisor.

Cozy and delicious

A small cozy restaurant that serves good breakfast, specially chilaquiles with fried egg and chicharron en salsa verde. Get there early to get a table.

Basically a Tex Mex style place. We ate twice. Tacos were good the first night. The lunch the next day featured a great BLT, put together perfectly.

One of the things I love about this restaurant and they will fix your food any way you want it. Or at least, that has been my experience. They are very flexible. The service is fast. The quality is good. One of my favorites. Consistently Good and excellent location.

We have always liked Correo and the food is good, but we have had bad service now two times in a row. The first time we sat around for quite a while before anyone took our drink order due to the fact that our waiter took off (guy with the tat sleeves, he did return eventually). And tonight after another... More

Big enough for two or three people and excellent. We had dinner here one night when it looked like rain as it's inside but has large doors open to the street so you feel outside but out of the rain. Great meal all the way around. Guacamole was excellent, and I had a wonderful dish with meatballs and rice. I'll... More

This lovely little cafe was just down from our hotel, so we stopped in. After the first day, we went every morning! The coffe was hot and delicious, the juice fresh and wonderful, and the huevos El Correo was amazing!

This is a very small restaurant with the best soups on the planet. They are known for their tortilla soup but the chicken noodle and chicken rice are both delicious as well. We started with guacamole and chips and it was beautifully presented, large enough for 4 people (we were only 2) and was possibly the best we've ever eaten.... More

We were here for lunch. When I compare this place to so many great restaurants in San Miguel I have to say the food just lacked a punch... or in other words the food was not as tasty as it could be. Combined with slow service I am sorry but I will have to give it only three stars. The... More
