This is a restaurant which serves few gringos who seem to love places which are tailored for serving the expat population. El Correo has excellent food and wonderful service. it's a brief walk from the Jardin and when we were there we went to El Correo 3 times. Gets 4.5 stars in my book. It deserves to be reviewed on TripAdvisor.

Chicken Salad was the best!

We dropped by this little spot on a recommendation. We were not disappointed. With Margarita in hand I dove into my chicken Caesar salad with taco chips. Oh, was it good. Beautifully done chicken. My partner ordered the meat balls in a rose sauce with rice. No complaints from him at all. Fun... read more

This place has the best tortilla food I have ever had. Recently, we tried their breakfast. Ordered the chilaquiles bandera, which was big enough to share. Looking around, we see Mexican patrons. This is always a good sign!

We tried a lot of different pastries and they were all sublime. If you're near El Jardin be sure to stop by and pick up a treat. We ended eating there almost every morning.

We go to el Correo a couple of times every time we visit. It's right next to La Parroquia so a nice place to people watch and have a good authentic meal. The places right at the church square are not good. Service is good and lots of regulars dine there. It is usually our first meal on the day... More

El Correo surpassed my remembrance from when we last visited San Miguel 5 years ago. Their food is excellent despite a small kitchen which one can view from the patron's area. Especially the tortilla soup and last night I tried their cream of cilantro soup. It was amazing. It's a small place, well frequented on week-ends by Mexican families as... More

Definitely good home made food but not 5 points as most of the people rated. We had tacos and arrachera. Good but not great food.

Super coffee and great pastries! There is also a bakery if you dont want a big breakfast. But if you do, go for it because this is one of the best. Really delicous traditional Mexican breakfasts. Service was slow at times but it was worth the wait.

El Correo was extremely busy when we tried to go for the first time but it was well worth the wait. Try the Chilaquiles verdes and the yogurt, honey, granola, and fruit. We came more than once and I loved it.

Nice terrace. Good food but not outstanding. Good prices. Overall a good experience in a central location of San Miguel. Very near the Jardin

Small place just 1 block from the plaza. This is where you have breakfast if you stay at the MORADA HOTEL. It gets full since only 8 tables available. The deep dish cassarol eggs were delicious.
