Good food

Inexpensive. Typical Mexican dishes served to perfection. This restaurant offers a good variety and is famous for their sopa de tortilla. Try it!

Correo is a small place - the food and choices were interesting. I had a chicken rellena (which had Feta Cheese and a green sauce). One thing I appreciated was a comment by the waitress. I am very fussy about carnitas - and when I asked our server about the tacos - she did not recommend them. A friend had... More

I have such fond memories of the correo, I eat here every time as I am a huge fan of chilaquiles and this is one of their specialities. But this time they just fell flat. There was too much cheese, the sauce didn't taste like much (someone brought over more I didn't ask for it, which made me think they... More

Loved the guacamole and the fajitas were amazing.... cooked with pineapple.I had the chicken enchiladas served with green salsa. We had too much food and had to take a doggy bag home with us. After dinner, we enjoyed a nice tequila that was served with a tomato-based granita (sort of spicy bloody mary-ish). Service was very good.

My husband and I stopped in for a quick breakfast, and would have liked more time to linger over our delicious meal. The Eggs El Correo, which the menu says is a house specialty, were especially good- cooked in a casserole with cheese, chorizo, and more. Migas were also solid. Nice atmosphere catching a breeze through the open windows. Our... More

This little gem only has about 10 tables and I have seen it full. The guacamole is a sublime treat - the prettiest display for guacamole I've ever seen. The margaritas are a hit as well. There were 6 of us at our table with varied menu items and we all very much enjoyed our meals. The chile rellenos were... More

Just off the Plaza, El Correo is one of the more authentic Mexican restaurants in town. The food is well prepared, very flavorful and most people dining while we were there were Mexican. The waitstaff is OK but not well organized (a minor criticism). We have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here and find the breakfast to be the best,... More

My headline says it all. The food is Mexican, plentiful but really not great. We shared two dishes which were not very good and had a glass of wine that was worse. There are lots of restaurants try somewhere else

This place has lots of options to offer. Don´t you dare missing their chilaquiles (breakfast). Their home made jams are delicious. By far the best option for breakfast lovers.

Basically a Tex Mex style place. We ate twice. Tacos were good the first night. The lunch the next day featured a great BLT, put together perfectly.
