Stopped by this lovely place around 830pm and rang a door bell to be greeted by the host of the evening. A funny man from Argentina who kept my friend and I entertained the whole evening. He spoke English very well and since I am quite rusty it was nice. He also shared lovely stories about the different foods and... More

We were tickled reading the replies to various reviews by the owner. Definitely showed some personality. After a play, pouring rain, and having found the restaurant we intended to dine in was closed, we dashed up to a...sliding glass door that was locked. But they will ring you in if you push a bell. There was only one other table... More

Thank you very much for your review. After reading it, we are almost making a decision about closing the restaurant. We have in mind to open de sex shop with the very most wonderful toys instead of selling steaks. We hope to see you soon. Ah !!! We will be not serving "agua de garrafon" More

It was a happy surprise to find that I probably had the best gnocchi in my life in Mexico! La Virundela has excellent meat dishes a la Argentinian parilla but also has delicious authentic Italian pasta dishes as well. The owner, Riccardo is extremely welcoming and like many of the other reviews state, he makes you feel like you are... More

A second time visit. Nicely decorated, but like the first time hardly anyone there. Prices were extremely high and the quality of the food was average. The steak had too much fat and bone and was more expensive than any steakhouse I have ever visited. Not recommended.

Four of us had another outstanding dinner this past weekend at La Virundela. Between us we had four different entrees, several salads and some side dishes. The caprese salad was especially good, although it could have used more fresh basil. The short ribs were superb and the portion enormous. Service was excellent as always. We all agreed that the bottled, house... More

Ricardo, the host and co-owner, warmly invites inside and yreats you like an honored guest, with great humor and stories. The food is superb and portions large enough to share; the wine list is impeccible. Dee Dee, the chef and co-owner, has filled the rooms with her fantastical paintings of Argentina. You have a choice of dining al fresco or... More
