Charming Setting off the Jardin - Great Menu, especially if you like steak

A delightful dining experience in a lovely setting. Layla is the perfect hostess - funny, charming and devoted to a great customer experience. A delightful dining experience in a lovely setting. Layla is the perfect hostess - funny, charming and devoted to a great customer experience. The empanadas are flaky, light and wonderful and a treat for both vegetarians and carnivores. Chef Chucho consistently turns out one of the few truly medium rare steaks in town on his wood-burning grill. The menu while... More

We are a family of five with two VERY PICKY eaters and the rest of us are quite the foodies! WE. WERE. ALL. IMPRESSED! From the genuine customer attention/appreciation to its quick customer service, this restaurant begins quite it's perfect experience. We started with red and white glasses of wines and a delicious fresh appetizer, Burrata. The fresh local cheese,... More

We had a delicious meal on our last night in San Miguel. After having Mexican food all week, we were ready to try something else. While growing tired looking for another restaurant we read about, we happened by this inviting place, serving Italian and Argentinian cuisine, which we thought was an odd combination. Not wanting to walk further, we decided... More

This restaurant is the best i've ever been in san miguel. The food is excellent, everything was hot when it came to our table and we had a great time. The staff is very nice and attentive. The place is very cozy and you feel very comfortable while you are eating, especially if you seat out in the terrace you... More

Expected more from this restaurant after reading positive TA reviews. We were very disappointed in the quality and flavor of our steaks. A good steak being the staple of Argentinia. The atmosphere is cold, and very brightly lit ...... not the feel most are looking for on a couples evening out. Reservation at 730, we shared the restaurant with only... More

The meal was excellent. I had T-bone steak and couldn't fault it. Fabulous mashed potatoes and very good mushrooms in cream and blue cheese sauce. We were too full for pudding but the owner brought us each a portion of grapefruit sorbet which was made from grapefruit for the tree beneath which we were sitting. She also gave us dates... More

Everything on the menu was fantastic - when I say everything I mean it. Our large group ordered all of the different cheese plates and empanadas selections, salads, almost all of the beef options, the salmon, and the halibut. All the food was incredible. The staff was outstanding and even treated us to a dessert made from oranges in the... More

The food is extraordinary and the staff friendly. Great atmosphere. Steaks are some of best we have had. Dont miss the beef empanadas, beef tartare, or grilled provolone!

For our last night in San Miguel, my boyfriend and I debated if we should eat at a traditional Mexican restaurant, or seek out something else. We had passed by La Virundela earlier in the day, and judging by the beautiful courtyard and delicious looking menu, we decided to return. We're so glad we did. We had a memorable evening... More
