Firenze- such a surprise!

I have been to San Miguel dozens of times, and stayed with my dearest friend, who owns a fabulous home there. Neither of us had ever been there but tried it on our last trip. One of the best meals, the short ribs are magnificent, salads were great, and our dinner with wine was very affordable! We... read more

San Miguel is a city blessed with many great places to eat that meet any budget. Cafe Firenze is one of the best in the fine dining category. The ambience is charming with a cozy courtyard and limited number of tables. The service is attentive without being overbearing or pretentious. Food is served well presented but portions are not compromised.... More

Supposed to be "best restaurant" in SMA, maybe in the previous location? Now on Reloj. A squeeky glass entrance door gets you into a very dark first room, dark walls, red (!) candle light...too open concept, for that reason not ideal for couples, no intimate atmosphere. The very small back room is friendlier with yellow walls, more like in Tuscany... More

Four of us ate at Cafe Firenze last Friday. We had been to to the previous location many times but this was our first time at the new venue All of us agreed the food, service and ambiance were outstanding. Between us we had flounder, arrachera, snook and pasta. Each dish was excellent. All of the fish was very fresh... More

The new location is better than the last 2 . The service was good but we found the menu rather limited . The ribs were very good but the rest was nothing special

Went on a busy night and was told they were sold out and had to come at 5.30. Left at 8 and only 2 other tables were occupied. Need to get their act together. Service was really nice but unfortunately the food was just OK.

The new location is perfect, convenient to anyone in the Centro, and the food remains good, although the menu is quite limited. Not sure if we caught the waiters on a bad night but the service was inattentive and because haugty after we sent a glass of wine back that was literally undrinkable. Even before they moved to this lovely... More

We enjoyed a fine dinner there in February this year. we had rented a home opposite the restaurant, near the center of the town; we noticed the restaurant did not get the business we thought it should have, perhaps not much advertising and a somewhat bland exterior.

I've followed Cafe Firenze to this, their third location in San Miguel. Over several years their food has become more authentically Italian. We shared an appetizer of tomato, basil, serrento ham and delicious mozerella cheese. The gemelli pasta with cream sauce and peas was delicious. As always the service was attentive and friendly. The new location didn't disappoint.
