Dining options: Lunch, Dinner, Reservations, Late Night
Description: This new restaurant has only been open one month. The two owner chefs are from Atlanta GA, USA with years of experience. I heard it was good but "good" doesn't come close. It is WONDERFUL! It is a small place and if things keep going like they are now, it won't be long before it will be "Reservations Only." Their Osso Bucco is wonderful and they make their own pasta and use mostly organic ingredients and local organic cheeses like buffalo mozzerella. The boneless short ribs are fantastic. Everything is wonderful and the guys are friendly and walk around and talk with everyone. They don't have a liquor license yet, but when they get their wine list active, the place will be the talk of the town! I say this is without a doubt the best new restaurant in San Miguel de Allende and one of the best restaurants in town.

We dined here on a Friday evening (only diners in the place). Great service, nice ambiance and outstanding food. We tried the antipasto platter to start, one entree of pumpkin ravioli with sage butter and another of rabbit ragout over spinach ravioli - delicious! Everything was top-notch. Perhaps the only complaint would be a fairly short pour on the glass... More

I had dinner with some friends here last week. I went with the beef short rib, which is apparently something they are noted for. It was indeed excellent. The up-close view of the San Antonio church makes this place a extra special.

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Cafe Firenze with dear friends visiting from London. It was truly an exceptional evening with superb personal service by Carlos, our waiter. My friend suggested I try the Beef Boneless Short Ribs and they were the absolute best I have ever had anywhere. My wife loved the Raviolis in a... More

If you haven't tried the Cafe Firenze, you must. The view, service and the food is the best part. When I called for reservations, I also asked for directions. The address seemed a little confusing. It is across the street from the church of San Antonio in the white building. Our taxi driver knew exactly were to go. There is... More

I'll get the one quarrel I have with Cafe Firenze out of the way first. No wine list. Instead, the waiter gives an oral presentation of the wines, without mentioning prices. This puts the diner in the awkward position of either having to ask the price of every wine, or hoping that he doesn't get overcharged. The food is terrific,... More

This is off the beaten path in San Miguel, but well worth your trouble to find it. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and speak perfect English. I was with a group of 4 and we all loved our meal. The potato leek soup is to die for and the pastas are all homemade. I had the Pasta Pappardale Bolognese and... More

This is a special place! The view at night is just gorgeous. The good news is that the food is also delicious! For us, it is a special occasion place as it's a little higher priced than some other spots...but it is worth it.

Where do I start? The salad, the oysters, the potato-leek soup, the raviolis, the mussels-white fish-polenta dish, and short ribs on mashed sweet potatoes -- never to be topped and never to be forgotten. Thank you!
