Great burger

Being from the states I am a little skittish about meat in Mexico, especially beef. I found this burger to be very good quality and cooked well done which is what I asked for. It was still juicy! The grilled onions and bun were delicious and they have great fries. I agree that it is a little... read more

Wood-fired burgers and steaks, the indisputable best in San Miguel. Really special salads, too, and wonderful fries. Set in a lovely courtyard out in the country about 10 minutes outside of the city. Totally worth the trip, even if you have to take a cab. This place is great with a crowd, too. they can accommodate large groups with ease.... More

I took visitors from the States and we had to wait 30 minutes after being seated to even order; then 25 minutes after that were told they were out of veggie burgers. Waited another 15 minutes to have the new order taken; another 45 for the burgers to actually appear. They were cold, as were the fries. I had switched... More

The hostess tried but he support was super bad. It was crowded but we were told about 40 minutes after our order was in that vegetarian burgers were no longer available. It took about 40 minutes or more to get the new order in. When we finally got real burgers, they were cold and the French fries were cold. Two... More

Honestly, we were ready for a taste of home after a few days in San Miguel, so we stopped here for a late lunch. The burgers were really good, same with the fries. They also had wifi, which is a big plus.

I ordered the 200 gram burger with cheese;medium rare. The meat when served was dry and slightly overcooked.Overall it was marginally acceptable in itself, but way overpriced;think Manhattan. The wine was fairly priced and good.

I've been having fun reviewing San Miguel burgers with my friends... we share and discuss the pluses and minus'. Le Burger is pricey but delicious, and the big one is enough for two to share. Have a glass of wine and you will love it. I like the carmelized onions, but my friend said "so what" to these... The fries... More

La Burger has a location in San Miguel de Allende's Centro Historico at #5, Calle Jesus. We went there on a wet and cold Friday evening recently. We should have left the instant we realized that the front door remained open, admitting inescapable blasts of cold air into the room. We mentioned to the server that we were cold, and... More

It's been a few months since I had driven out of town for a change of scenery to one of my favorite places to eat. What a disappointment to find that La Burger is not what it used to be.....not even remotely. I waited at least five minutes before anyone brought me a menu and took my drink order. Fifteen... More

It was my third visit to La Burger. I was with several friends and my wife the first two times and thought the burgers were over priced. Yesterday I went alone and ordered a 100g burger, medium, and a beer. The burger was right, the fries perfect, the chilled carrots and jicama, were comp and delicious, the beer cold, and... More
