Enjoy an eclectic crowd: local and expats...while dining on wonderfully delicious food. Highly recommend the flank steak...the best I've ever had. Huge portions of food...so splitting will still leave you filled to the brim! Music nightly...we enjoyed a wonderful classical guitarist!

The restaurant has the charm of the old town buildings, with courtyard and adjoining rooms as well as lovely décor. My daughter ate an almond Tilapia and I had the Arrachera meat, both were delicious and we accompanied it with a glass of house wine. I would definitely return.

I've eaten there four times and I'll probably go back again. The food is good and reasonably priced. The service is professional and friendly and they have a lunch menu with special prices. I live here in SMA and once in a while I have a craving for a BLT. They put out a legitimate one with plenty of bacon.... More

We sat in a beautiful courtyard and had a very good meal. The service was great and everyone there was very friendly there. Went back a few time during our trip and each time was just as good.

My husband loved the mole. I loved the fish tacos. The place was packed with a combo of locals and gringos and it seemed like everyone knew everyone else. We became fast friends with the people sitting next to us. Great service. Good drinks. Reasonably priced.

Very charming restaurant and excellent food! Enjoyed fresh guacamole with homemade chicken soup. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner. Perfect stop after spending the day at La Gruta.

We made reservations for 30 over email, and Hecho en Mexico arranged for us to all sit together in one of their side rooms. The food, as always, was excellent, and the staff took good care of us. The ambience was ideal for a relaxing evening with friends while getting a taste of San Miguel.

This is the first place I go to eat when visiting San Miguel Allende. Excellent menu and the service is beyond compare. Very reasonably priced. When I get tired of street food, this is where I head, conveniently located. The perfect place for that special location, without breaking the bank.
