On a glowing recommendation from my wife and I, four of us went to the Mezzanine Bistro for a special occasion. My wife and i had been on prior occasions and had been very pleased. Not so this time. The service was attentive and friendly, the decor was wonderful. The restaurant was not filled so we were very kindly offered... More

I have eaten at Mezzanine several times and have yet to have a poor meal or bad service. I feel like I am dining in a European bistro and the attention to detail is great! A town as chic as San Miguel deserves such a gastronomic treat! Congrats to Chef Paulo Pocinho for striving for excellence in a town that... More

I love to eat at Mezzanine Bistro. The staff is so friendly, the place is beautiful and you feel so comfortable and welcome. The location within walking distance of the plaza is excellent and has a beautiful view to enjoy the sunset. The food is delicious, you can enjoy a variety of dishes perfectly achieved, especially Portuguese and French food,... More

I am not sure I spelled "manifique" correctly but what a great restaurant!!! I live in SMA and am constantly disappointed by overpriced and mediocre food. This is the opposite. This restaurant can rival any NY or Toronto or Paris restaurant for ambiance, food, service and value for money. For about $20USD you get three courses and a side!!! Top... More

The Mezzanine served some of the best French food I've put in my mouth in well over a decade. The gratin dauphinois was exquisite, as was the fresh fish "meunière". Even the butter was reflective of an unusually high standard. The setting, service, and food were 1st-rate, and all for a prix fixe of M$200. I consider this restaurant as... More

On the mezzanine level of the Vista Hermosa Hotel overlooking the city, is a tucked away piece of heaven called "Bistro by Bobo" with an A La Carte and Fixe Prix menu that changes weekly. The Chef has hands of loving care and respect for the French and Portuguese dishes he prepares. Am I in San Miguel de Allende, or... More

Hidden gem, diamond in the rough. Excellent new place with unpretentious french food with a home-made flavor and a very nice setting. A great change to the majority of restaurants in San Miguel. Amazing and with huge potential

It has been a winter for discovering new eateries in SMA. In a city where a new resto seems to open every week and sadly, we might add, another close, we have found this new restaurant to be one of our faves. Not wishing to be easily impressed, we have tested this new location four times and have not found them...
