Chef Ana Lilia Galindo serves up a globe-spanning menu in Chamonix's cozy, hearth-warmed dining room. The specialty here is the aptly named Swiss fillet— medallions of beef wrapped in ham and cheese. But frequent fliers will also be pleased by traditional Mexican dishes like beef-stuffed poblano chiles, spicy Sri Lankan curry, Vietnamese spring rolls, and an array of fresh pastas. In fine weather, the pretty outdoor terrace is a lovely place to linger.

Nice, quiet, French-style restaurant. Sweet romantic place. Patio and inside seating. Small. They bring you the menus on 2 large chalk boards and prop them up on chairs for you to see and order. For six years Chamonix has been my favorite restaurant for an upscale meal. Tonight I orderd the Swiss steak. The meat had been tendeized so much that there was no texture, kinda of like arachera without the spices. I was not charged but no longer trust the quality of their food. It lost its French designation by serving poor quality... More

We found this place by accident, because even if it's in the center of SMA it is kind of hidden. Entering this place is like entering other world, other ambiance, since that moment I knew I was going to love it. We had a late lunch and every table was reserved for dinner, so they let us stay in the... More

Chamonix is our favorite restaurant in SMA and I say that noting that we have dined at all the competition. During our month in SMA, we have had two dinners and six lunches at Chamonix. The ambience is intimate and charming, the food consistently enjoyable and at prices that are amazingly reasonable. Chamonix manages to prepare food that is visually... More

This place was quiet and my wife and I went for a romantic dinner. We were told that it was a "hit or miss" type of place. Unfortunately our night was somewhat of a miss. It was quite expensive for San Miguel. The service was good but the food (a chicken curry of sorts) was very poor.

Excellent, French biased foods and well chosen wines. The chef takes much of her dishes from France and does a great job with sauces. The wait staff have been well trained and give unhurried service. We had dinner there one night and lunch another day; however, take note that to get a reservation on the weekend is not easy. Hope... More

Part of the restaurant is in a central atrium and part indoors. The food is good without being outstanding. We had excellent soup and interesting Vietnamese wraps, but our pork chops were large and a bit dry. Service is slow because both food and drinks are written on blackboards (one of each) so you may have quite a wait until... More

One of best meals ever! The inside dinning room is intimate and quiet enough for a conversation. Their were 6 of us and each had a different appetizer a.d main course and each told the others they should have had what they had. My wife's salmon was cooked to perfection. My linguine was outstanding. The pork chop was perfect as... More
