Enjoyed a good dinner with friends here. Great ambiance, and while the food was tasty and nicely presented, it was not great. I will give this place another try. Perhaps we just hit it on a bad night.

We almost didn't go, as it was listed #37 in tripad in a small town... but a French local (?) told us to. What a great experience. The menu is not vast in alternatives, but all we tried was well prepared. Good wine selection, with some stars from the region (Torres de Tierra). Service is impecable, and sitting by the... More

Cafe Rama is convenient, but that's about the best I can say. I've reviewed them the first time I cam for lunch, now I've been there a few more times and I will stop visiting Cafe Rama. The menu is kinda Mexican and kinda Gringo. I'm not sure where the focus is. I find the food mediocre, and just food... More

The decoration, the music, the drinks, appetizers and the food were amazing. Of course this is a matter of luck and u can stop by and have a bad experience, but we were reallly lucky and enjoyed it all! Really great! Ee sat by the fire place and drank a whole bottle of Mexican wine: torres e terra... Wow!!!!

Nice atmosphere but mediocre food and service. I won't return based on the food and service. Wine is way overpriced vs other good restaurants in the area

I was blown away by the cool pop art and music that creates an amazing atmosphere. All of the dishes I ordered were made with care and lots of flavor. I had breakfast, lunch and dinner and every thing was delicious. Jaime Shelley takes so much pride in every detail of cafe Rama....kudos!

I had a great breakfast and big portions severals weeks ago. I ordered chilaquiles in green sauce, was so good! and I found they have a open fruits salad bar with cereal and yogurt, amazing idea for those days when you don't want eat too heavy. So I decided to invite a friend for lunch and we were so disappointed... More

I went to cafe Rama with a friend of mine for lunch 0n October 31st and both of us ordered a burger (medium cooked). After about half an hour we finally managed to get our burgers, which, surprisingly, were outrageously overcooked and dry. Not to wait another half an hour to have other burgers, we decided to eat them anyway.... More

This restaurant is located close to the Art Institure but not on the main drag. When you find it you will be pleasantly surprised because the interior it fantastic. Easy chairs, around a fire place, a well stocked bar and decorated to please the eye. The food is good and plenty with a wide variety so everybody can find what... More

We stayed in the Barrio Aldea in San Miguel de Allende, just across the street from the Instituto Allende, which has a very nice restaurant Hecho in Mexico, but looking for an alternative we walked to the corner toward the plaza and a hundered feet to the right we found CAFE RAMA. Fires were burning in each of the three... More
