I eat a lot of Indian food in the states but this is the best ever. It's Sri Lankan food cooked by the owner-chef. It's beautifully prepared. Not your typical indian food. The dishes are beautifully aromatic with non of the spices overwhelming another. A MUST TRY in San Miguel! It is by far my favorite place and there are... More

I'm spending a few months working in Leon and escaping to SMA whenever possible. What a great find Dila's turned out to be. To make additional comments concerning the fobrews almost becomes redundant, as all the reviewers have noted it is delicious. The place is also very friendly. On my first visit I was traveling on my own and ate... More

Skip your preconceived notions about Indian food. For a modern, delicate, and all around delightful meal, we consistently enjoy Dilas. The staff and owner is very attentive, the clientele are eclectic and interesting, and the prepared dishes, superb. No overpowering curry here, but rather and subtle blend a fresh spices. We're regulars and never disappointed.

There's an island on the edge of the Indian Ocean; very close to India and far from Thailand, however, this island tastes like a beautiful fusion of both Thai and Indian cuisine. Imagine India mixed with the coconut blends of Thailand and you get SRI LANKA. Now imagine this beautiful island of blissful blends of Indian Ocean Asia; which is... More

4 recent visits were rewarded with excellent food and friendly service. I had chicken curry, shrmip curry and twice spicy peanut chicken. The spicy peanut chicken is wonderfully hot and delicious. Dila is charming and welcoming and serves up consistantly delicious dishes.

Recently, my wife and I decided to have a sunset margarita on the roof of a local hotel, then to stop by Dila's on the way to our rented home (about a block from the restaurant) to pick up some take-out. When we arrived at Dila's to pick up our order, placed that afternoon, the genial owner/chef admitted he'd mistakenly... More

If you need a break from Mexican food, I strongly urge you to try Dila's. Run by a most charming Sri Lankan chef, this restaurant offers dishes with wonderfully complex and nuanced flavor profiles. We were met at the door by the chef and seated immediately. It was a chilly night so we sat inside but there is also a... More

My friend and I happened upon this restaurant by chance. It is a bit away from the Jardin, on Ancha de San Antonio, across from the Instituto, but well worth the walk. A nice change from strictly Mexican food. The restaurant was quite busy with many "anglos." We both had the fish special, a really nice piece of white fish... More

If you are fed up by the usual Pizza or pasta cuisine, and are looking for exotic high quality cuisine, this is the place to go. The Chef, from Sri Lanca, studied in Switzerland, and prepares himself the different plates he offers in a very varied menu. Each choice is done with his special touch that makes it unique, as...
