I came by here twice, once to get a birthday cake and once to buy a treat for my daughter. Both times I left without buying anything because of the rudeness of the ladies at the counter! I am a plain old middle aged woman who speaks Spanish, I don't know why on earth the young women would bother being... More

At the recommendation of some media sites, I stopped by what turned out to be a minuscule bakery, in the afternoon, a Wednesday. The pastry case was not particularly full, quite a few brownies. On the left were some bakers working behind a glass wall. On the right what appeared to be a bar, two stools. There were maybe four... More

Europe has nothing on this San Miguel de Allende sweet-spot--el Petit Four. A few Parisian-style tables are available up front with a street view where you can sit, people watch, and savor your hot coffee or other drink that goes along with one of the wonderful Petit Four pastries. Yummmmmm. Always fresh. Always perfect. If you wish, order a cake... More

Amid all the wonderful places to eat in San Miguel sits a tiny El Petit Four which makes wonderful pastries at very reasonable prices. Watch the ladies make mouthwatering pasteries behind a glass wall! Either dine in or take a bag full of beautifully crafted pasteries back to your house/hotel. Not to be missed!

A bit of Europe in the middle of Mexico. Exquisite pastries and delicious continental-style coffee. Confident and competent pastry experts create scrumptious delicacies behind a glass wall in full view of cafe patrons. The ambience makes you feel like you could be in Paris or Vienna. The taste confirms it. This is a place I save for a special treat.... More

Should your sweet tooth get the better of you while out walking the cobblestone streets of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, there is no better place to get it under control and satisfied than El Petit Four. Delicious beautiful pastries and laminate breads. Fresh and as good as any boulangerie or patisserie in Paris. Paco is the best!

Being a lover of well made pastries and deserts, I found San Miguel a little wanting in this category. That is, until I went to El Petit Four and cafe bar. We tried 2 varieties of the fruit tarts and an almond croissant - loved them. I wonder if New Zealand butter is their secret. You'll want to bathe in... More

If you want to experience a sweet moment at any time of the day please stop in this amazing pastry! The owners are personally there at every moment, which makes it so high quality.
