Great lunch with a great view!

We arrived just as the restaurant opened on Sunday (noon). The servers were attentive to us and sat us at the best table with view. We ordered queso fundido (yum!), fajitas, enchiladas and appetizer 'chicken tacos' (more like American flautas, rolled up). All delicious!

This place is a tourist trap. Overpriced meals and drinks. Very close to the Jardin- best thing going for it. No taste. Had to coat everything in salsa for it to taste any good. Much better food in San Miguel - keep walking!

Granted, my expectations were high but even taking that aside, La Posadita didn't deliver. The terrace was quite empty but they pushed us to an area with the Parroquia very up close so there was no view. The fajita was only passable and the service quite abrupt. I was not impressed and didn't understand why it's voted one of the... More

When I go to San Miguel, I always want to include this restaurant. What makes this restaurant special is its outdoor rooftop patio with its amazing views of an old church across the way. Eating here in the early evening is such a great treat with the remarkable view. Great photo op. But also the food and service is good....you... More

A really great place if you want good food and great views. I have read other comments about the service not being that great but we found it to be very friendly and efficient. By the way, they do a great frozen margarita.

Had a wonderful traditional Mexican meal here and enjoyed the views. The service was great as well. The Margaritas were delicious, the food was fantastic. A magical meal near the city center.

We were walking around looking for a restaurant without preplanning. We came across La Posadita and gave it a try. The location was convenient and the view was nice. The food on the other hand reminded me of Mexican chain food in California. The presentation on mine was nice but the flavor was lacking and my stomach was upset afterward.... More

First, the food and the ambience here are wonderful. We had concert tickets so called to make an early reservation for 4pm. When we arrived there was only one other table with customers. The staff seemed annoyed that we were there and I assured them we had reservations. They huffed and puffed and whispered among themselves and finally decided they... More

After some difficulty getting table - and some runaround re reservations, had a gruff, not too helpful waiter - BUT, the food was exceptionally good for high quality traditional Mexican dishes. Including a pork shank with great sauce.

Three of us had a lovely dinner overlooking the city. Food was B+/A-. Good selection of Mexican and non-Mexican food. Not particularly attentive staff, but not terrible. Incredibly well located right next to the Parroquia, up on the roof of a building.
