Great Views from the roof terrace and competent food

Good quality Mexican meals with a view over San Miguel de Allende. We arrived for dinner to view the sunset but it was raining. Service is very good.

Set on an upstairs patio with a view of the church and the city, this was our choice for lunch in the heart of San Miguel. We choose a local chicken and salad dish (poole verde con pollo) and something new - a wonderful frozen margaritas (margarita de temarindo) to cool down on this very warm day. It was a... More

This place came recommended by every single ex-pat in San Miguel. I will admit, I was not very hungry, but I was underwhelmed by the food. Don't get me wrong it wasn't bad, but I wasn't sure what the hype was about. The rooftop was pleasant enough, but not the best in town. Maybe it was the incessant firecrackers being... More

Set on an upstairs patio with a view of the church and/or the sunset over the city and valley, this a fine choice for a soft-splurge, special dinner in the heart of San Miguel. Our meal -- on the night of one of the town's many religious processions -- was enhanced (truly) by church bells and fireworks every few minutes.... More

Tonight we had dinner at this restaurant. It was a bit cold, so we asked for a heater to be placed next to us. With the heater, it could not have been better. Great view from the roof patio. We had two cocktails, one each, and four glasses of wine, two each with dinner. We started with guacamole. It was... More

The other reviewers were correct. If you get a table at the very front of the patio (or in the back on the wall) there are great views. Our meal was average, nothing special, but good. The thing that stood out was the sangria they served with the tequila. Best we had all week in San Miguel. Worth a trip... More
