Stunning views and delicious margaritas!

If you want a stunning rooftop view of either the Parroquia or the town this is your place. They have amazing margaritas and a cricket salad that gives you a slice of local cuisine not found in the US and the service is pretty fabulous!

Good food, great service and fantastic view. Just off the square this is a great place to have dinner and enjoy the view of the city at sunset. I recommend for a nice couples' night out.

The restaurant is on the rooftop of a building about a block away from the cathedral. Wonderfully decorated with candlelit tables. The authentic mexican food menu is perfect! It is not congested with millions of options but rather seperates a few options in general categories. This menu style and limited options is rare, but excellent! The choices are authentic mexican... We ate here a year ago and it is still as good as the last. Sit on the rooftop and enjoy a margarita with your food.

Great views of the city. Homemade chips and green and red salsa arrive when seated. Full bar and standard Mexican wine list with a few interesting choices on it. Very good Pasole came with chopped raw onion, jalapeños, dried chiles, oregano, lime, and avocado, so you can doctor it up to your liking. We stuck to Mexican options all night.... More

We ate at La Posadita twice during our recent week long stay in San Miguel. Excellent food, wonderful staff and very reasonable prices. And the view - just stunning. Try the enchiladas verdes! Also fabulous margaritas and mohitos.

Even though I sent my salmon back because it was not properly cooked I would still recommend this restaurant. Overall the food was good - apart from that problem - fairly upmarket and unmistakably Mexican and you get excellent views of the cathedral in one direction and across town to the hills in the other. The service was good and... More

Good quality Mexican meals with a view over San Miguel de Allende. We arrived for dinner to view the sunset but it was raining. Service is very good.

Set on an upstairs patio with a view of the church and the city, this was our choice for lunch in the heart of San Miguel. We choose a local chicken and salad dish (poole verde con pollo) and something new - a wonderful frozen margaritas (margarita de temarindo) to cool down on this very warm day. It was a... More

This place came recommended by every single ex-pat in San Miguel. I will admit, I was not very hungry, but I was underwhelmed by the food. Don't get me wrong it wasn't bad, but I wasn't sure what the hype was about. The rooftop was pleasant enough, but not the best in town. Maybe it was the incessant firecrackers being... More
