We enjoyed our meal under the stars. The food was delicious and we were within sight of the wonderful skyline and could hear the parade below. Margaritas were yum! Such a lovely evening

The menu is typical Mexican fare but done well. What steals the show is the views. East you're bumped up against the main church, La Parroquia. West, the recently redid a section that faces towards the mountains. Either way awesomely romantic and a great way to show of the town to friends. We have a home in SMA since 2003... More

Have eaten here several times while visiting San Miguel. The view is great, but this past visit the food was disappointing. The shrimp and orange salad was mediocre at best and the Chiles in Nogada very disappointing. The chiles were served cold and when I informed the waiter he replied that it was served at the correct temperature. More attention... More

La Posadita offers typical Mexican fare and all kinds of margaritas with a great view of La Parroquoia. They also make the best guacamole we have ever tasted and we've tasted a lot of guacamole! Inexpensive.

Very convenient location and if you can score a table upstairs on the street side, the views are incredible. Not bad from the other side, either. Food is, well, OK. Not great, but consistent and reasonably priced for a super-Centro restaurant. Best feature are the cocktails, especially the margaritas. Tell them you want a "margarita muy seca," sit back and... If you are in town for any period of time, La Posadita should be on your list of restaurants to visit. The terrace is just a great setting for dinner. We came here due to the recommendations from the owner of our casa and our great guide, Helene Kahn (tours@helenekahn.com). They were spot on. The Tamarindo Margarita is "yummy". We... More

Lovely view, good service and completely average Mexican food. Pleasing table settings, good spacing of tables, not a bad place just overpriced and bland.

Why did it take us so long to visit La Posadita? Maybe because there are so many choices in San Miguel. But, this place is now at the top of our list, especially when friends visit. The rooftop dining area is nicely done and the views are awesome. Service was first rate. We had the Guacamole, Chile Rellenos, Green Chicken... More
