Our favorite so far

Tonight we had dinner at this restaurant. It was a bit cold, so we asked for a heater to be placed next to us. With the heater, it could not have been better. Great view from the roof patio. We had two cocktails, one each, and four glasses of wine, two each with dinner. We started with guacamole... read more

The other reviewers were correct. If you get a table at the very front of the patio (or in the back on the wall) there are great views. Our meal was average, nothing special, but good. The thing that stood out was the sangria they served with the tequila. Best we had all week in San Miguel. Worth a trip... More

Walk up a narrow staircase to the first level and you're in the bar area. Up another flight of stairs takes you to the rooftop restaurant. Enjoy views of the church as the sun goes down, accompanied by tasty, moderately priced dinners.

This place is a tourist trap. Overpriced meals and drinks. Very close to the Jardin- best thing going for it. No taste. Had to coat everything in salsa for it to taste any good. Much better food in San Miguel - keep walking!

We arrived just as the restaurant opened on Sunday (noon). The servers were attentive to us and sat us at the best table with view. We ordered queso fundido (yum!), fajitas, enchiladas and appetizer 'chicken tacos' (more like American flautas, rolled up). All delicious!

Granted, my expectations were high but even taking that aside, La Posadita didn't deliver. The terrace was quite empty but they pushed us to an area with the Parroquia very up close so there was no view. The fajita was only passable and the service quite abrupt. I was not impressed and didn't understand why it's voted one of the... More

When I go to San Miguel, I always want to include this restaurant. What makes this restaurant special is its outdoor rooftop patio with its amazing views of an old church across the way. Eating here in the early evening is such a great treat with the remarkable view. Great photo op. But also the food and service is good....you... More
