We visited last night 10/19/2014. We had the ceviche and the ravioli. The ravioli was terrible and we ended up getting sick from the food. To make things worse...we used a Mastercard. We learned the next day, from our credit card company, that the restaurant attempted to continue trying to run our credit card 3 times after we left and... More

We went to Mivida with high expectations, partly driven by the reviews on Tripadvisor. It took us a while to get served, but that was fine; there was live music and we enjoyed the ambiance. When our meals arrived after a really long wait, they were stone cold. We discreetly asked the waiter if he could get our meals heated... More

If you're missing French-style pastries in Mexico, then visit Mivida. Excellent bread, pastries and coffee. Up to our snobby Seattle standards!

Mivida came highly recommended and we came away unimpressed, to say the least. We asked for our meal to be well-cooked and it was served to us cold and not well-cooked. We sent it back and it reappeared soon after, with that telltale sign, a boiling hot plate, some of the meal heated, some still uncooked. They insisted that it was not... More

The first impression was good , stepped in during the day to reserve and got first class attention and review of the menu. Sadly on arrival later it went steadily downward. Surely waiter was embarrassing , then the ordered wine was not available. Even though the food was acceptable the continuing bad service disappointed all in our group and with... More

After a week of eating out we finally found a good Italian restaurant. The daily catch done in squid ink is excellent. The green chicken is very good as is the tagliatelle. In addition we also went back for a capicino and small treat. All the food here was delectable. The owner and chef is very friendly and really knows... More

looking forward to the trofie (a hand-rolled delicacy) bosciaola - profiled in local publication. We ordered that...and what came was fettucine. We mildly protested, the waiter looked sheepish, but we didn't make a fuss...assuming there was no more trofie. But isn't it common courtesy - when ordering something a bit special - to say -"I'm sorry we're out of it"... More

My wife and I had the huitlaoche and Gorgonzola ravioli. We spend all nite vomiting. I spoke to the chef and did not apologize. They said their "frozen" huitlacoche was good. Frozen not fresh!!!!! For a 90 dollar meal. It was very subpar.

We returned on Monday evening for the large fish which would easily feed 3 if not 4. I ordered it 24 hours in advance when I made the reservation. It is served with a salad, and was preceeded by a Lagniappe "small plate" of grilled calamari (in a tiny paper bag) and a medium grilled shrimp. The house Chardonnay was... More

Mivida is the place for you if you want pretentious food that's more concerned with presentation than taste or integrity. This is not Italian food as most of us know it. True, parts of Northern Italy serve similar fare, but it is not what most of us think of when we want Italian food. I ordered the Ossobuco, the Milanese specialty... More
