The most important negative about this restaurant is that the beef is NOT from Argentina where the beef is grass fed and has a distinctive flavor. It is from the US. Having had beef in Argentina we know there is a difference. What is especially disappointing is that Mexican grass fed beef is readily available at at least two butcher... More

We ordered the Lomo tipo Argentina which was a huge beautifully spiced boneless cut of beef. It was extremely tender and enough for two. We also shared a delicious chopped salad that Included pistachio nuts, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, ham and other vegetables. It was delicious. They have a fairly priced assortment if Argentinian wines as well as interesting desserts. The... More

I've been to the Garufa in Zacatecas and thought it was outstanding. This one is just ok. Now I admit I may be biased, I live in Monterrey Mexico and we have some of the best beef in the world (not exaggerating here), but it was nothing spactacular. The service was very good, would probably visita again.

"La Garufa" is a chain restaurant, but it's become a chain because it's so good. I've been to 3 other Garufas and they never disappoint. They really know how to cook delicious beef. If you want a big juicy steak, look no further, this is the place. I specially love a greek salad and their tiramisu. Enjoy!

Went for dinner asked for empanadas they were served cold we sent them back and instead of doing some fresh ones they just put them in the microwave and returned them all mushy, we told the waiter why didn't they redo them and he answered they couldn't do that we asked for the manager or someone responsible and he mentioned... Expected Argentinian steakhouse and it is but also excellent Italian hors d'ouvers. Grilled red peppers in olive oil and balsamic. Others even better and more filling. Very attentive service and made sure steaks were prepared properly.

Anticipated an overall great experience given the friendly staff and beautiful decor. However, the steak was far below par and certainly no worth the money. Very tough meat and not something I'd expect from an Argentinian steak house. The medio churrasco (top sirloin) was probably the lowest quality meat I've had in many years. The service was excellent however, and... More

I'm from Texas, Texans think that the best steaks are in Texas, and today I realized that no, I ate a "vacio" and I found the best steak I've ever eaten in my life, the whole restaurant is very nice, the service is excellent the personal attention of the owners is incomparable. The price is very reasonable, meat and ham&cheese... More
