Lovely late night stop

We stopped late after a rain storm when the weather had cooled down a bit. The chocolate (Español) was delicious and the churros were very tasty (not out of this world but very tasty). Typically this place is packed and I'm not sure I'd wait an hour for my treat. We went at a time when we... read more

Hoping for a glimpse of Margarita Gralia, owner and telenovella and stage star......who doesn't really need to be there to squeeze out some of her delicious churros. Her staff do a great job. Weekends mean lineups down the street. Better to wait, like us locals, for mornings when the churro crowd are doing something else and you can enjoy a... More

The weekends always has a line out the door. A coffee house with an emphasis on the sweet side. Try it on the weekends and mix with families from all over Mexico.

Seriously, the churros and chocolate alone are worth the trip. Absolutely fantastic. I guarantee that you will not regret the trip over here at all.

Often we would find ourselves on the street where San Augustine is located. There always seemed to be a line. We decided that before we went home, we would find out. Early one Sunday morning, we decided to visit. We discovered that they have the most delicious mexican chocolate and stuffed Churros as well as more substantial breakfast fare. This... More

I love Chocolate y Churros. My favorite dish is the flor de calabasa crepe. Rich, smooth bechamel atop a crepe filled with squash blossoms and mushrooms. Wonderful. Good latte, too, along with a nice breakfast. And the ice cream and churros and chocolate are good, too. So convenient on Calle San Francisco just across the street from the Templo de... More

The food is great, real Mexican food. Very little place with very friendly people. We did not have to wait but I saw people waiting after we ate. I guess we were lucky on that matter. Churros are OK. Stuffed with cajeta, rompope, and many other things.

The day we came here, it was raining and it was so cold. So a hot chocolate and churros seemed like the best snack of the day. The line was sooo long! But some people drop out and the waiting time reduce, so we wait about 15 min. We wanted to eat inside, but there is another line to order to... More

Everyone goes to this place for the hot chocolate. In fact, we often go by when two lines snake out the door--one on either side of the entrance. We stopped by for a late lunch on a hot day, so we skipped the chocolate. But the enchiladas and salads were remarkably good for such a casual place. We were delighted.... More

We always stop in here at least once when we're in SMA . Great churros and very good hot chocolate. Have not had any of their other food. Great photos on the walls. A classic San Miguele place.
