Average mexican churros,long wait

The day we came here, it was raining and it was so cold. So a hot chocolate and churros seemed like the best snack of the day. The line was sooo long! But some people drop out and the waiting time reduce, so we wait about 15 min. We wanted to eat inside, but there is another line to order to... read more

Everyone goes to this place for the hot chocolate. In fact, we often go by when two lines snake out the door--one on either side of the entrance. We stopped by for a late lunch on a hot day, so we skipped the chocolate. But the enchiladas and salads were remarkably good for such a casual place. We were delighted.... More

We always stop in here at least once when we're in SMA . Great churros and very good hot chocolate. Have not had any of their other food. Great photos on the walls. A classic San Miguele place.

The chocolate is good but forget the churros. I wouldn´t want to know how many times that oil is reheated. The smell of burnt oil in the restauant and on the street keeps me out of that place. Breakfasts are good

The white chocolate is delicious, and the churros are good too. However, service is not so good and they don't accept credit cards.

Saw the restaurant full of people so thought we'd try it out for lunch. We ordered the green chicken enchiladas and the cream fettuccini alfredo and asked waiter if the sauce had flavor or was plain sour cream. He said it had many spices and very good so I went for it. It was horrible!! I didnt return in b/c... More

We've eaten there twice and love the chicken enchiladas verde! This place is packed at night, with lines on the weekend. They were out of the first two types of beer we ordered on our first visit.

The restaurant is nice and cute don't get me wrong. And I would stop in again if it was on my way. But I would not make a special trip to find this place. I have had much much better churros from the street vendors or even other restaurants. The churros not made to order so they aren't hot when... More

I live in San Miguel de Allende and love this place. It is across the street from a lovely part and fantastic Church with an unbelievable facade. The best time to go is in the afternoon. You can get right in. They have a menu besides the chorros. I like the Azteca soup. One of the best in town.

We went to this place at the end of a food tour (which I recommend). The caramel stuffed churros were delicious and restaurant itself is very cute. We walked right in, but apparently there can be very long lines. I assume that is is because people are hoping to get a glimpse of the owner, Margarita Gralia, a famed soap... More
