if you like a great place to endulge in churros, this is the place to visit. It was on the list we visited during our "taste of San Miguel" tour and was the last stop. This place is decorated with many baskets hanging from the ceiling, foto's and memorabilia from a famous Mexican actress who's name I forgot. Sorry......but go... More

The best thing was the energy juice with beets and carrots. The breakfast was satisfactory, turkey ham in omelette was cold cut style but not bad. I would come back, I want to try more. Service was good.

Churros with the chocolate choices: Mexican, French and Spaniard. I like my chocolate dark so the Spaniard was my choice.

great price for a sweet tooth fix later in the day. If there's a line you can always go to the counter and order take out without much of a wait and then take it to the jardin to eat on one of the park benches. aaahmazing

An "institution" in San Miguel - the best churros and hot chocolate on the planet. Always a line to get in, but well worth the wait. If you are visiting San Miguel for the first time, this is a Must! I have been here many times over the years, and really have only had the churros and hot chocolate, so... More

1st time at San Augustin. We ordered coffee and 1 set (3) of regular churros and one filled churro. The churros were cold vs. warm and the waitress took them back and after 7+ minutes brought new ones (Disappointing considering the place). The coffee is a regular small cup (about 8oz), which for the price I think is overpriced. Service... More

Service is horrible. Food was mediocre. It seems they hang on only due to their owner a Mexican Soap Opera star whom clearly has seen better days. The bathroom was disgustingly filthy. Don't waste your time stopping here.

Our service was friendly but somewhat slow --- especially since we were almost the only ones in the restaurant. I enjoyed the interior of the restaurant --- it certainly has it's own personality. I savored my carne empanada and the chimichurri sauce was also very good. Thumbs up for them both. My wife and sister had hot chocolate and churros.... More

I expected a delicious and finger licking good breakfast but no dice. The decoration is horrible, I asked an employee who was the woman who's pictures are plastered on every wall was and he said she was the owner, I thought "what an arrogant woman" she's some mexican celebrity I've never heard of and to be honest, I lost my...
