Food is very good and the view of the church is amazing, but they don't accept credit cards and have a ridiculous exchange rate

This little place is a landmark among the tourists that visit the dreamy San Miguel. Owned by an actress, if you are lucky you just might stumble upon a local celebrity who likes to see and be seen there (as in our case we did with Jaime Camil). I have higher standards for Churros & Chocolate restaurants, because I know... More

The owner was there, and she was nice. Churros are delicious, and the hot chocolate is good. I really recommend White Chocolate, is unique! We loved it.

A fun lunch or snack stop in SMA, though best avoided during lunch and dinner hours given the demand for a table will run the wait time 30 + minutes. The churros are good, as is the hot chocolate. I would recommend this for a mid afternoon or early morning respite for kids who need a sugar boost and parents... More

We went here twice just for the churros and hot chocolate although they serve full meals as well. The waiter didn't speak english but the service was good. The cafe is located across the street from plaza San Agustin 2 or 3 blocks from the center of town. If you come here, try and get a table by the window... More

Be prepared to wait and be prepared to think it was worth every minute. The chocolate and churros are amazing...seriously amazing but the breakfast plates are not to be underestimated. My personal favorite is the enchiladas rojas con pollo with a couple of eggs on top! The salsa roja is top notch. I just wish the place was a bit... More

This is one of the things I enjoy the most about San Miguel. Buying a cup of hot chocolate to go (it comes with three delicious churros) and walking down to the main square to enjoy then sitting on a bench. It is amzing all the things you can see sitting on the park. Mariachis, street performers, kids playing with... More

Hot crispy churros and thick Spanish hot chocolate beyond compare. Almost always a wait because the place is so small but give them your name, sit on a bench across the street at the church and watch the people. Breakfast and sandwiches available and good as well. Service is very busy, almost frantic when real busy, but as attentive as... More
