Best churros anywhere

We always stop in here at least once when we're in SMA . Great churros and very good hot chocolate. Have not had any of their other food. Great photos on the walls. A classic San Miguele place.

Often we would find ourselves on the street where San Augustine is located. There always seemed to be a line. We decided that before we went home, we would find out. Early one Sunday morning, we decided to visit. We discovered that they have the most delicious mexican chocolate and stuffed Churros as well as more substantial breakfast fare. This... More

I love Chocolate y Churros. My favorite dish is the flor de calabasa crepe. Rich, smooth bechamel atop a crepe filled with squash blossoms and mushrooms. Wonderful. Good latte, too, along with a nice breakfast. And the ice cream and churros and chocolate are good, too. So convenient on Calle San Francisco just across the street from the Templo de... More

The food is great, real Mexican food. Very little place with very friendly people. We did not have to wait but I saw people waiting after we ate. I guess we were lucky on that matter. Churros are OK. Stuffed with cajeta, rompope, and many other things.

The day we came here, it was raining and it was so cold. So a hot chocolate and churros seemed like the best snack of the day. The line was sooo long! But some people drop out and the waiting time reduce, so we wait about 15 min. We wanted to eat inside, but there is another line to order to... More

Everyone goes to this place for the hot chocolate. In fact, we often go by when two lines snake out the door--one on either side of the entrance. We stopped by for a late lunch on a hot day, so we skipped the chocolate. But the enchiladas and salads were remarkably good for such a casual place. We were delighted.... More

The chocolate is good but forget the churros. I wouldn´t want to know how many times that oil is reheated. The smell of burnt oil in the restauant and on the street keeps me out of that place. Breakfasts are good

The white chocolate is delicious, and the churros are good too. However, service is not so good and they don't accept credit cards.

Saw the restaurant full of people so thought we'd try it out for lunch. We ordered the green chicken enchiladas and the cream fettuccini alfredo and asked waiter if the sauce had flavor or was plain sour cream. He said it had many spices and very good so I went for it. It was horrible!! I didnt return in b/c... More

We've eaten there twice and love the chicken enchiladas verde! This place is packed at night, with lines on the weekend. They were out of the first two types of beer we ordered on our first visit.
