Cheap decent coffee

They have these crazy crack cocaine tasting brownie muffins that you must stay away from bc they are way too delicious! :P And clearly made with something like crisco (not butter) so yeah theyre tasty. They go great with a cheap $17 coffee. I wasnt a fan of the egg dishes as I found them too... read more

Staying at Hostel Inn, this is one of the closest place to have a quick lunch or breakfast at a decent price. Fresh produce, good fresh juices, this place is to me a great choice when staying in the area.

Cafe La Media Naranja was a delightful start to our day. After walking through the local artisenal market, my boyfriend and I found this gem nestled on the second story of a building on Calle Hidalgo and Calza de la Luz. Our host was accomodating and patient as she explained the difference between "huevos a la mexicana" and "huevos rancheros."... More

La Media Naranja is on the second floor over a pharmacy so tends to be over-looked by some. They serve fresh, well prepared dishes at a very reasonable price. The menu is sort of a Mexican/Gringo fusion. It works for me. I don't know where they get their baguette but it's always fresh and as good as I had in... More

I've gone back to Media Naranja simply because it was close to where I was living, and I have been disappointed every time lately. The juice has arrived lukewarm instead of cold, and when I asked for more ice I got a look like, "are you crazy?" Wifi hasn't worked for days but no one seems concerned. There is no... More

Had breakfast here on our walk to the jarden. Good food and juices. Fresh preserves on my toast ( the new Yorker). You can see the kitchen from your seat it is clean and simple. Fresh produce from down the street made for a good experience.

We had an exellent lunch here. Although the menu is limited, the food is very fresh with lots of healthy options.

Most disgusting eating experience of my life!! I found a rat or huge mouse foot in my sandwich.. Truly nauseating, I have traveled the world and have never had such a thing happen. Not what I expected in civilized San Miguel, certainly. Obviously their hygiene leaves something to be desired.

My favourite for breakfast in San Miguel de Allende - omelette with chèvre and red peppers. Walk up the stairs to a small, simple gem with great smoothies and consistently good food.

Fresh pressed juices of all kinds, fresh salads, excellent smoked salmon bagels, nice atmosphere. Very close to the Artisan's Market at the corner of Hidalgo: on the second floor. Great service and personal attention
