We decided to have lunch here while waiting for friends. The view was nice from the rooftop. The food on the other hand wasn't really nothing to write home about. Sorry but there are much better places to eat and have better food. The waiter was nice and so was the view. Thats the only thing I liked. Had a... More

Arrived late in San Miguel and went looking for a late night bite to eat. We stopped here because the music (contemporary Mexican dance music) sounded great. We were happy to get excellent food even if the service was a bit slow, because the place was packed. One couple on the dance floor was putting on a show that had... More

We had pizza here twice during our week in San Miguel. This is a very busy restaurant. Staff do a great job. Our pizza both nights was good. It could be cooked a bit longer as it was not as hot as we would have liked. Prices are reasonable. The live music is also great.

We both ordered Pasta dishes and cheesecake and were very pleased with food and service. The best part for us was the Music two nights in a row. The first was Saoco / Musica Cubana with Remy on guitar, a bass and conga player and all 3 on vocals. It was totally authentic and I would highly recommend! The second... More

Just a few steps from the Jardin, this is a very popular restaurant and is frequently visited by locals and expats alike. The atmosphere is very pleasant and roomy, lots of plants surround the dining area. We all ordered their pizza which was baked in a brick oven and we were all pleasantly surprised my the texture and the taste.... More

Mama Mia has a superb Sunday Brunch with a wide range of traditional Mexican offerings. Their Pozole is very good. A few nights ago we stopped in to listen to two jazz groups and get dessert. The service here is good. The desserts were tasty and the venue is a great place to listen to music.

Pizza and pastas are very good. Go in the evening to enjoy live music as you eat. Then go up to the terrace for more music with an opne view of the city.

We were warned by colleagues about this place. In a desperate attempt we thought they could be wrong. But they were so right. Perhaps for a drink on the terrace isn't so bad. How can you mess that up? But for food for sure, stay away. It was the least favorite meal during our time in SMA. Didn't seem fresh... More

Having just spent a week in San Miguel and eaten in quite a few restaurants, Mama Mia stands out as the best of the lot. Usually crowded with both tourists and Mexican families (and of course expiates) the food and service was consistently very good. The pizza was good. The puttanesca pasta was excellent. Salads were good tho standard fare... More

We stopped for a drink, as it was a very warm day, we sat in the bar area, the restaurant was crowded. We had our drinks and left, service was slow. The place has TV screens for sports fan.
