Hank's is the new name of the famous Harry's Restaurant with 12 years of history in Mexico, since 1999 in San Miguel Allende and since 2004 in Queretaro. Hank's is a bit of Louisiana and its "French Quarter", which offers the traditional Cajun cuisine from New Orleans. The atmosphere at Hank's is incomparable, you can enjoy a delicious dinner or spend a pleasant evening in the bar, drinking a margarita, a martini or a devastating hurricane while listening to jazz music.

What a lively place

Dropped in here yo quench our thirst after many hours of sightseeing. We were in the bar which was full of locals and tourist alike. We had great margaritas and complimentary popcorn and watched the game. Great atmosphere, friendly staff.

Stopped into Hank's on a whim after reading their menu and seeing that they offered fried oysters for 110 pesos. We could not resist. With our chilled Margaritas in hand we devoured the plate of piping hot oysters dipped in a rich creamy dip. So GOOD! Loved the location and the service was impeccable.

Each year we delude ourselves into returning to hanks. Where food is mediocre, ribs are cooked to cardboard and then smothered with sauce. The drinks are expensive and we are generally disappointed after we leave. I will try harder to refresh my memory banks and avoid it as there are so many good places to eat in San miguel

A festive place with a New Orleans menu. it was okay, nothing to get excited about. I think it might be best to go and have a drink in the evening.

Very happy to have found Hank's. Food was very good. Varied menu. Music was good. Waitstaff was a little slow, not as attentive as I'm used to. Place was pretty full at 6pm. I ordered meatloaf - enough for two people and price was pretty good. Ordered the velvet Elvis for dessert - who can go wrong with peanut butter,... More

We awoke with a craving for eggs Benedict. Figured Hank's, of all places in town, should have good ones. Mexican cuisine is great, but eggs other than scrambled can be difficult. These eggs were runny (white uncooked) and the 'Hollandaise' was orange and tasted like Velveeta. Surprisingly, they omitted the ham as well, instead serving a crusty, overcooked glob of... More

One of the few restaurants we found that catered to a bit of the trendy set in San Miguel. The food was good with a New Orleans twist which mixed with the native cuisine was quite good. Open late which was great for us since we arrived late and most restaurants were closed. Recommended - not great, but sure worth... More

We celebrated a birthday and it was awesome. It was also quite the happening place. The only reason I did not five or 5 stars is because it was very American. My philosophy is typically when in Rome... Hanks however was a good time. The group ordered ribs which they all raved about. We had a chocolate cake that was... More

The atmosphere is great when you walk in and the service is good. The food was fine, nothing out of the ordinary, but tasty and satisfying.
