The black beans, chilaquiles, scrambled eggs with chorizo, the fresh fruit juice were a trip to childhood memories. It is a popular spot with locals so make sure you get there early and it can get loud. The owner is there supervising.

We ate at Cafe de la La Parroquia based on the many positive reviews as a great breakfast spot. While the patio was pleasant, the food was average and not very high quality. The oatmeal was more reminiscent of cream of wheat and the rest of the meal tasted like low-budget diner food. To make matters worse, the service was... More

This is a beautiful and charming patio where you can have the special menu, consisting on natural water (lime, hibiscus, etc), entree, main course, coffee and dessert for 125 pesos. The options to choose all are covering different tastes. You can notice how homemade is this, is authentic, and an interesting fusion with the person who cooks and the owner,... More

Food was OK. Place was crazy crowded for brunch and we felt like we weren't special guests...just sort of like cattle being herded. The service was lackluster because they were so crowded. There are just so many other less crowded and yummy places where the waitresses aren't running around with their heads cut off and have time to attend to... More

We went there to have our late sunday brunch and had an amazing experience. The food is traditional Mexican cuisine, it is tasty and plentiful, their coffee is outstanding. We had to wait 15 to 20 min to get seated (remember to get your name on the list!!) but it was worthwhile.

Cafe de la Parroquia serves authentic Mexcian food in a peaceful, pretty courtyard just up from the Parroquia Cathedral. We ate there 3 times in the week we were in San Miguel because we could count on the quality and we always seemed to be in the area. One of our friends is a vegetarian and she always could find... My husband, sister, her husband and I were looking for a nice place to relax and enjoy lunch. This fit the bill perfectly.

Lunch was comfortable and charming. Salads and Mexican specialties with a bit of a French accent. This is a good place to go for lunch. The people are cheerful and the service is good. The atmosphere is lovely in an old courtyard in town.

This is a charming courtyard restaurant. It is so pretty so sit there and talk and eat. It is right in the center of town so the location is great. The food is fairly inexpensive and quite tasty. We had lunch there and did not have anything very unusual or gourment. All I can say is the ingredients were good,... More

A lovely place for a wonderful Mexican desayuno (breakfast). There can be a wait some days, but most we got seated right away. There is a fountain in the courtyard and sometimes they have roses floating in it. Great food at a reasonable price in a lovely setting - what's not to like.
