A very enjoyable lunch

Stopped by chance at this restaurant and we will probably go back. The Gyros was delicious and the house wine very drinkable. Excellent value in a relaxed and pleasant surrounding.

My partner tried the sardines which were lovely. The Kleftiko was tender but very bland (very little seasoning). Will not be going back!

Good service, nice location, decent food. What more can you ask for? We had fresh fish, Greek salad and chicken souvlaki. Only thing I did not die for, was the Greek salad, mostly because of the not so ripe tomatoes. Other than that, I can give little fault to anything.

Enjoyed kreek salad, tsatsiki and veal "stamna". Huge portion, authentic flavours and friendly staff. Cold wind from mediterreanian was not nice, even though there were plastic curtains which were ment to hold wind out fron customer seats.

We went to this restaurant no less than three days in a row. The first two days the food was extremely good and the third it was good. The staff are friendly without being "overwhelming".

Despite the calendar, our December visit to Agios Nikolaos was delightful and this restaurant a highlight of the town. We started with a mezze selection of spinach-like greens, grilled potatoes and calamari – all liberally doused with a bright olive oil. Two large fish were brought to our table, first uncooked so we could appreciate their freshness, and then moments... More

We stumbled across this gem accidentally when the town had closed for the winter. The quality of meat was at a level never seen before, the owner/chef/cook was a old fella and so friendly, he kept giving free food. The chicken falls apart in your mouth. A definite go to place for incredible quality meat.

It was our first evening in Ag Nik and it was a real adventure to find this restaurant! We walked in total darkness on a footpath near the sea, so all the better when we smelled the BBQ! The owner is a real gem and after we chose our fish and seafood he just worked a miracle. The staff was... More

We ocupated the second table - the rest were free, but the fish was really delicious (Dorado) and lamb was great! Strongly recommend this family restorant, and with them wealthy and good lack!

It's not unusual to be given a free treat at a Greek restaurant, but at Faros we almost wanted to say NO MORE PLEASE. A jacket potato each with the starters, a plate of melon and grapes, cheese pasties covered in honey and a little jug of raki. When you have already eaten a hearty meal it can be over... More
