Once again on my own in a town I don't know I asked the taxi driver where to eat, he suggested this place, good suggestion. The restaurant has in fact 2 areas one more informal with high tables in the front where you can have an aperitif with some anti pasti, and one more formal area where the tables are... More

We had dinner here while staying across the road at the lovely Hotel Milano. The food was superb. Raw beef with parmesan had melt-in-the-mouth wafer-thin slices of the freshest beef, vitello tonnato was one of the best we have had (including in some of Milan's finest restaurants) and the rabbit braised with herbs and olives was incredibly flavoursome. Salice Terme is probably unheard of by most tourists, but it's clearly popular with Italians seeking a spa holiday. The restaurant is centrally located, the service is excellent, and the quality of food very good. We both had funghi porcini with grana (cheese). Good authentic Italian, a bit on the expensive side but enjoyed by all. Staff were helpful and friendly
