Just spent a great weekend at The Barge. Arrived on Friday night and pitched tent with my wife. On one side I had a 40th birthday party, on another a stag weekend and infront a childrens birthday. Sun was shining the beer was flowing and everybody was friendly and relaxed. Went into the bar to meet a great crowd of... More

Stopped here for lunch part way through a long walk. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it was not too busy even though it was a sunny Sunday. There was no problem getting a table outside. The barman was very friendly and helpful. When it came to making a decision on which cider to have generous tastes were offered.... More

WE called in after a walk with family on a Sunday. Excellent service and tasty food. Only problem was my roast could have been hotter so got cold even quicker as we were eating outside. Good selection of ales and some brewed on premises. Recommended.

Called in The Barge two weeks ago, we had a lovely meals, my hubby had fish and chips, I had ham, eggs and chips. They were cooked beautifully, and yes we had a short while to wait, but as the food is cooked to order, one doesn't expect to be served immediately, unless of course it's all microwaved. The staff... I'd been looking forward to visiting this pub & campsite for a while, but was totally underwhelmed when we arrived. Disappointing, over priced food served by wishy washy staff. Being constantly pestered by dogs belonging to the landlord and other punters was unwelcome. I am a dog owner but keep an eye on him and clear up any mess when... More

A home for aging hippies-great service-limited menu but lovely setting if there is a place for aliens it it is here! Lovely community pub with real atmosphere.

.... and delicious food, too. We camped next to the canal and the pretty pub garden was an ideal launching spot, especially of you fancied a drink or two before setting off on what must be one of the most beautiful waterways in England! Very friendly staff and locals, holding up the bar, and possibly one of the best hamburgers... More

My wife and I have visited the Barge Inn at Honeystreet many times in recent months and have always enjoyed good food and friendly service. The setting and beer garden are a delight, the meals are exceptionally good value (huge portions, lovely fish and chips and super local Wiltshire ham). We are surprised by the negative reviews but often find... More
