Imaginative menu, prepared with remarkable flavor and flair, nicely presented. Reasonable prices; pleasant but plain atmosphere. Always a satisfying delight.

I read about this positive recommendation and went back again with my wife for a meal. And It was a disaster. I don't know if the recommendation is given by VIN 48 in another location. I tell you the food is the worst I have seen in my life in any restaurant. So we have to go to Chinese restaurant... More

If you are visiting in the Vail/Avon area, do not miss this restaurant if you enjoy excellent food paired with excellent wine. We had stopped in the day before on impulse after local friends told us we must visit the "naughty" gift shop at Beaver Liquors across the street. Vin 48's co-owner, who is the maitre d', assured us they... More

Been many places. You will not beat the food here. Special salad of the night was a tomato - corn salad. Tomatoes, corn, green onion, micro greens, and a bit of arugula. AMEN! Delicious! Followed with perfectly cooked pork cheeks and gnocchi, dressed with a fabulous pork glace sauce. O Yum! Service perfect! Why shop when you can be so... More

Vin is a simply decorated, friendly place. Happy hour small plates are varied and flavorful . . . wild mushrooms YUMMY. The waiter was delightful and graced us with a generous pour of the featured wines. Plus, not a bad view!

This little gem is well worth a try. They have a combination of small plates and large plates so you can mix and match, have just small plates, or a regular two course dinner with a small plate and a large plate. Food is excellent, well prepared and with some real finds: braised goat with paperadelle was to-die-for, bison carpaccio... More

The wine and the food that accompanied the meal could not have been better. We were treated with a very good wait staff. Suggestions and questions answered without being pushy. The wine list is second to none in the Beaver Creek, Vail area. Best of all, the food ranges from the typical to the more adventurous. You cannot go wrong... More

I have had many wonderful experiences at Vin. As a local, I have brought out of town "foodies" here and they are always impressed. We have a chef in the family and he is in *love* with the braised pork cheeks, while my favorite is the fried goat cheese. One great thing about the menu is it changes seasonally, so... More

I see some harsh reviews and although i'm super adventurous with food, I found the small plates to be well worth it. My husband ordered the goat (I forget the name but it was goat, cheese, wide noodles, and a broth). I've never had goat but it was the best thing I've ever tasted. Seriously. We also had mussels (which... More

Me and my wife went for our honey moon to Avon Colorado. And we saw all the reviews of the restaurant(vin 48) and we found out it not to be true. We ordered braised El Regalo ranch goat. We looked at this food on "The vail vallies dining guide 2013" and expect it to be good. It says flat bread,cucumber,... More
