Vin 48, in the heart of Avon, is a great place for an upscale quiet dinner accompanied by a great glass of wine. Casual or elegant you will fit right in. Can be really busy in the evening during ski season.

Ate here on a Sat night at end of ski season. So very quiet but still had nice relaxed ambience. Very friendly waitress who was very helpful explaining the menu and making recommendations. The scallops were perfectly cooked and tasty. The black cod special was delicious. Very moist and perfectly seasoned and the flank steak was also perfectly cooked to... More

Friends introduced us. They like to stay at the Westin Riverfront. If you can make it for Happy Hour (5-6:30) this is the best bargain around. Select wines for $5/glass and small plates for $8. Order several and split and you'll have a great fun meal. This is our new go-to place when we arrive in town now. You're tired... More

We enjoyed the rosé and Enjoy By along with the wild mushroom and smoked salmon on latkes. Great vibe, great beer list, fun bar scene. We will definitely be back to enjoy dinner!

We went 2xs. Great HH that last till 6:30 a plus in a town where deals are hard to find. Wine specials at 5.00 a glass. Good wine too. Small plates at 8:00. Great service. For planning purposes, on a Friday we got there about 6:00 and the bar was full. they allowed us to sit in the dining area... More

This restaurant serves excellent food at a good value. We had wine and a few small plates which were all very tasty. The mussels were so delicious that we ordered a second plate. The atmosphere is lively. The service was friendly and attentive. Next time we are in the area, we will be back for sure.

The staff were very friendly and the restaurant has a nice selection of wines. In addition, the menu is very fresh; featuring many local produce and meats and the dishes had a creative flare.

Several hotel staff recommended this restaurant, and they were spot on. We made a meal of several the excellent bread and several small plates: a wonderful pureed cauliflower, fine cheese board, tasty salmon belly tartare, and excellent scallops. The only disappointing item was the kale, which was far to salty.

Vin 48 is one of my absolute favorite restaurants of all time - & not just in the Vail Valley! I have always received incredible service and the food speaks for itself. It is the perfect location for a special date night but also serves as a great place for a social gathering among friends and family. You can't go... More

Food here was decent and could have been made a little better with service that was up to par .Our waiter was younger and looked confused. They removed silverware from our table and we were left with nothing. Food was average and I would probably not return
