Master Chef Wolfgang Puck teamed up with the award-winning Ritz-Carlton to open a Colorado outpost of his legendary Spago at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch. Spago continues to set the standard for cuisine, service and style. Chef Jared Montarbo creates imaginative, California cuisine with regional, European and Asian influences in a sophisticated, warm environment crafted by esteemed New York-based hospitality designer Tony Chi. The 4,400 square foot restaurant features a hip and sophisticated 34-seat bar and lounge which is the ideal place to see and be seen.

Attractive, ok food, pricey

We loved the space overall, and pony-skin chairs in particular. Very nice ambience. Prices high, but you can order from the more casual bar menu as well. The wiener schnitzel was large, but came with minuscule portions of potato salad and cucumber. The lobster risotto was under-seasoned. The pot... read more

We stopped here for a late lunch after skiing. The decor and food are fabulous. We had the tuna cones as a starter. These aren't on the menu any more but they will make them for you if you ask. We then shared a burger which came already divided. Great wine list. Easy ski in, ski out location. Make a... More

The food at Spago never fails to exceed expectations. It's wine list is world class representing all the main wine regions and other then the French meursault's are reasonably priced for a hotel restaurant. Once seated at a wonderful window table with a view of the snow and The large spruce trees with Christmas lights, we were given as a... More

This was our second visit to this location, we've also visited the Maui restaurant. My first thought upon opening the menu was that the prices are out of control. The wine list is marked up 400%, a bottle of Spanish "Clio" Jumilla for example which retails for $40 was listed for $140, we settled for a $20 bottle of malbec... More

Have been to several Spagos and have never been disappointed. This Spagos at the Ritz is no exception. Cuisine designed to the Colorado palate: bison, ribs, etc. it's a treat.

This was our second visit in a year, and it was even better yet ! Started our evening outside by the open fire pit listening to great music and making s'mores. Dinner was exquisite. Excellent service. Great atmosphere. Less is more kind of decor. During meal, Carla came by to make sure everything was perfect. It was. Delicious food. Expensive... More

We tried Spago because we were staying at the Timbers, and it is an easy walk to the restaurant. The food was very good, and the service was excellent. However, the restaurant is so loud, we could not carry on a good conversation. It looks like the restaurant switches out its trademark chairs and rents special events chairs and tables... More

We stayed at the Ritz at Bachelor Gulch and had dinner one night at Spago's which is in the hotel. I have dined at the Spago's in Las Vegas several times and was expecting about the same service and experience at this one. However, we were pleasantly surprised when the service and food was even better than what I have... More

There is nothing they could have added to make this dining experience more than it was. Truly perfect from drinks, to appetizers, to meal, to dessert and coffee. Seating was centered in the room and allowed the background sounds to remain out of our space and pleasantly balanced. Our service was at that difficult but noticeable point of never asking... More
