Great food, great service!

La Malquerida is a wonderful, small restaurant in town. The food is well prepared, lots of options and very reasonable. It ranked right up there with one of the best meals we had in Tulum.

This was my favorite restaurant we went to during my time spent in Tulum and Playa del Carmen. The service was awesome and SUPER friendly. Not only that, the food was amazing and i highly recommend the guacamole. I had three chicken tacos and it was delicious. The portion size was large. Our waiter who may have been the owner... More

La Malquerida is my top choice restaurant in Tulum. Food was excellent, portions were large, drinks were great and the service was friendly, courteous and very accommodating. We dined at, at least, 12 different restaurants during our recent stay and although the rest were great this was by far the winner. Go and enjoy.

After a day in Sac Actum, we went to have dinner here. They have good service, good food and free wifi.

Delicious food and drinks. I had the fish ceviche and it was amazing. They also serve you a free tequila shot after your meal. Nice atmosphere and located just off the main avenue in town. Recommended!

I don't want to trash this spot.It could earn 3 stars but i need to give 2 to bring down it's incredibly inflated average. the food is ok - but it is by no means the legitimate mexican experience some of the misguided reviewers have painted. it's also overpriced Everyone who gave this 5 stars needs to buy me a... Our hotel recommended we go to La Malquerida after arriving in Tulum. It was a great way to start out trip! I was immediately impressed by the casual, open air feel of the restaurant. I loved how the bar had swings instead of chairs, it basically sums up the whole vibe of the town- laid back. Armando (not sure if... More

We walked along Tulum Main Street to find out Mexican and seafood. We decided to give it a go and their food turned out to be really good. We had Quesadilla as a starter and it was cooked perfectly, I like the salsa it wasn't too spicy. Then we had pulpo with garlic butter and pollo taco both dish are... More

Although I may not put it in my top 10 of Tulum I enjoyed the food here. The fish was fresh and simple. Tacos were pretty tasty too. Just off the main Tulum blvd.
