Description: At El Paraiso Hotel we take great pride in the untouched nature of Tulum...
At El Paraiso Hotel we take great pride in the untouched nature of Tulum. We have therefore created a small hotel in harmony with nature without waiving the comfort of modern living. Our vast pristine white sandy beach and the calm crystal-clear waters invite to stress free beach days, water activities and romantic walks along the shore line. Cool off with a refreshing young coconut picked from one of our innumerable palm trees, take up diving or kite surfing, or just be, and let all your worries disappear while you relax in the shade of an umbrella.Explore the natural wonders and archeological sites of Tulum. One of the best preserved Mayan ruin is just around the corner from El Paraiso Hotel. The ruins set at the top of lime stone cliffs overlooking the waters offer visitors spectacular views. The Sian Kaan Biosphere, cenotes and caves hidden deep within the jungle, as well as national parks can all be found within short distance from our hotel. Add to this the second largest Reef in the world just off shore and the abundant marine life of the Caribbean, which has made Tulum and important and extraordinary location for all types of water sports. After a day at the beach or discovering the surrounding areas, El Paraiso Hotel is a place to relax, unwind and disconnect from the busy days of the normal life. Pamper yourself to a massage from our Spa services right on the beach with the waves of the ocean as the only sound, or revive the ancient Mayan tradition of worshipping the sunset joining us in our sunset yoga on the beach.Tulum is the perfect destination for discovering and enjoying all the magic of Riviera Maya.

Come here to enjoy the beach, not eat...

You could put me on a deck chair with a PBR in hand and I'd be fine, Tulum is that breathtaking. However, if you give me my 'druthers' I'll take a place like this one. The beer is cheap and the nachos sloppy (poured cheese, my friends...like you get at a high school football game;o). The waitstaff... read more

From the beach you can arrange snorkelling trips past the ruins and out to the reef where there are a reasonable variety of fish and some good fan coral. On the beach it is best to hire a split double bed so that you can move around the fixed sunshade as the sun moves. Food is OK although service is... More

Stopped to eat here because the beach looked really nice! But....lots of ants in the sand, and when it started raining, we were not given the option to use one of their beach umbrellas, but told we would have to go inside to the restaurant, which was ok because of the ants. Only people who rented beach beds could have... More

This is one of the most magical places I have ever been. The beach is straight out of a Corona beer commercial. They have about 600 feet of the purest powder white sand beach front I have ever seen. It is located just about 1 KM from the Tulum ruins. We stayed in Casa Paraiso which is a 6 bedroom... More

This place charges for their beach loungers. I thought it was just a gringo tax, but I saw them running down everyone, fluent Spanish speakers and all. Perhaps they paid less, but the point is that you can go just down the beach and pay nothing. The food was terrible and there is no reason to be here, the beach... More

We went just for a drink this year just to see if they would try to pad the check as they've always done in the past. We weren't disappointed, they did. As I wrote last year, go to The Vita Bella just down the beach from Paraiso. Great food and people don't rip you off. The beach is spectacular. You... More

But the staff were ignorant...I almost felt like they were not there at times...one guy, who I can't remember tried to repair that, but, the rest ruined it for us. It might be a homophobic thing...not sure, but, it's not like my partner and i are flamboyant neck'ers.
