My boyfriend and I were looking for some very atmosphere-rich places to spend some time on our nights in Tulum. The pictures that I had seen of this place looked great, so we headed out in a cab (we were staying at the far end of the strip at the fantastic Ixchel Playa and Cabanas - see my review), and... my mom and i went there and ordered the yuca balls (too sweet and flavorless for my liking), shrimp empanadas (delicious), fish stick (great), and a bloody mary because i am searching for the best one and while it was good everything was overpriced. this is the most we spent on any of our meals in mexico with it being... This is a small place with a funky beach vibe that makes Tulum the cool place it is. We has apps and they were all very tasty and enjoyed the fresh beverages also. They have a 2x1 Happy Hour daily with live music at night. Full menu and bar. Nice place to chill out and enjoy the evening.

Stopped by on our one night in Tulum. They had some issues getting the band up and going but what can you expect in such a remote area and they were actually apologetic about it. The bartenders and servers were very, very nice and served you right away. The decorations are beautiful. I wish I would have taken pictures fo... More

We had a group of 10 (June 2014), and everyone loved their dinners and drinks! Fish, meat, and great for vegetarians, which isn't always the way. Cool, artsy atmosphere, great service, and there was incredible rancho musica that night that was top notch as well. Watching the creativity in the cocina was inspiring. Recommend!

Note: I've never used trip adviser before now - that's how strongly I feel about my experience at this restaurant. After living mostly in Chiapas, Mexico for over 6 years and with frequent travels all over the Yucatan and especially Tulum, I was pretty shocked to receive far worse treatment in a "fresa" hotel zone establishment than a small, cheap... Service was awful. They took years to serve our plates, and finally when they got served, the order was wrong. So they took about 10 more minutes to bring them again. The taste of the food is very plain. It looks like they want to cook Mexican food / fusion but they don't have a clue on how Mexican food... More

The most interesting thing we ate in 6 days of Mexico! It's mashed sweet potatoes with a pesto cream topping and has tomatoes and cucumbers on it! The pescadillas were great too!
