Very nice service and the atmosphere is very romantic with the colored lights and we were Lucky to have our meal accompanied by a guitar player. But the food was still the best part! The pasta is amazing!

We would recommend this restaurant to anyone that travels to Tulum. Not only is the food fantastic, the service was great, and the portions were more than worth the money. There are lots of "italian" restaurants out there, but it's difficult to find real, authentic italian food... Trattoria Romana was real authentic italian food. This is also coming from someone... We had not had great great Italian food since moving from NYC to Costa Rica until we found this restaurant. I had linguini with mixed seafood in a red sauce and it was muy sabroso. My friend had the linguini with sweet Italian sausages & bacon in a white cream sauce which he loved. The waiter Alessio was very accommodating... More

Was sceptical about pasta in Mexico but we were so happily surprised! The food was delicious (I had the pasta with crab), the wine was good and the service was excellent! The owner Alessio is super friendly and speaks great English :)

Alessio, the owner, suggested the spaghetti with fresh crab. It was so delicious I had to order a second portion!! Can't wait to have dinner there again!

Stopped here after getting a bus from chetumal. Was starving but we were pleasantly surprised by the food. We both had pasta and a beer. Very reasonably priced

This was our first visit. We were four. It was the end of our trip and I was getting fooded out a bit. I wasn't even that hungry when we went in. But it's Italian and the server told us the fettuccini is made in house. So, we ordered a bottle of Sicilian red wine for about $20 US and... More

It was ok, not the best Italian food I ate! The grilled fish was good, fresh and well made but the taste was ok, the pasta too salti and good, it's not a wow reasturant, for that price I ate in better places, the stuff is nice! The margarita was full if alcohol but was great!

Decent Italian food for a good price. The seafood risotto we had was tasty (and a big portion!), but the seafood was not completely fresh. The penne with shrimps was also good. The grilled vegetables as a starter were a little overcooked, though tasty. Very friendly staff. Drinks are relatively cheap (beers for 20 pesos) and the staff offers every... More

Medium priced Italian food, well made, but on the salty side. Drink special are 2 x 1 Margaritas (frozen is very strong and refreshing) and Cuba Libres. It was so good we went twice in 2 week and another time just for the drink specials.
