Italian Paradise in Tulum

This restaurant is such a delight. A beautiful indoor & outdoor setting. The service is fantastic, the owner (who is Italian) makes an effort to interact with the customers, and even offered me some insect repellant as I had forgotten mine. The food was amazing, a good variety on the menu & tasted... read more

We went with a friend to eat pizza and have some wine. I will say decoration is nice and you can laugh about all the funny things people write. But when it comes to food....the pizza was not too good. We order a pepperoni and garlic pizza, I'm a pizza lover and honestly I didn't like the pizza. Pepperoni taste... More

One of my favorites in Tulum. These guys make great Italian classics and change the specials on a regular basis. They also do home delivery in Tulum and you can order on the phone, via text and on Facebook. Giordano is a great guy as well.

If you read nothing else in this review, just go to this restaurant. The food is delicious, and the staff are wonderful! My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner here on a Monday night. Giordano, the owner, was so friendly and accommodating. He helped my husband's parents pick wines, food, and find a live band and artist who made... More

Great Italian food and nice atmosphere. A little pricy. Had mushroom ravioli in a creamy cheese sauce -- excellent! Good espresso.

This place was right around the corner from where we were staying. I would normally eat local food but after 4 weeks you need something different. Bread with olive oil to start, yum, its the little things you miss. The home made pasta was superb, not everything from the menu was available, but what we had was very good. One... More

Stopped in after a day fishing. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming staff. Calamari was very tasty but not much of a portion. There were three of us and we each ordered a different pizza. The pizza was ok. Very little sauce and a very crispy - cracker like crust. We're from the East Coast and used to more substantial... More

We walked past this place and it was always busy and the restaurant looked nice, the decoration welcoming. However we were not satisfied with our dining experience. There was no free appetiser to start the meal, which is the first time we've experienced this in mexico. The food was ok but there was not much of it. It would have... More

Sale e Pepe is a wonderful little place to enjoy real Italian food. Located on the Tulum road at the Coba turnoff, it has a lovely outdoor terrace or you can eat inside. The wait staff are terrific and very knowledgeable about all of the menu items. I had gnocchi in clam and mussel sauce that was to die for!... More
