Set on the beautiful powdery sand shore of Tulum, Zebra Restaurant ought to be one of the best restaurants around the area. Went there with friends for brunch and dinner and during both occasions, our taste buds were very pleased. All of us were in consensus that this restaurant is one of the best in the area. The atmosphere is... More

Amazing ceviche here! Staff super friendly. Expensive for what you could get in the US or for what you'd expect from a beach-shack style place....but actually reasonable.

The cocktails were tasty (if a little pricey), the location is beautiful and the ceviche is worthy of a daily visit. The waiters were delightful and friendly.

Our group stayed in Tulum for five nights and we ate here twice. I enjoyed the barbacoa the first time, which was very good, and the next time I had the coconut fish, which was incredible. We also tried a ceviche for the table and thoroughly enjoyed it. We also had three little ones with us and while they did... More

My husband and I visited this restaurant after checking out the Mayan Ruins in Tulum. We saw a recommendation on Trip Advisor and went with it! Totally worth the 15 minute cab ride (which wasn't terribly expensive). We sat on the beach and it was so relaxing and peaceful. We were staying in Playa del Carmen where the beach is... More

We had dinner at La Zebra on "Salsa Night"! They had a live Salsa Band with tourists and locals dancing on a deck on the beach...it was very cool! Had fresh Grouper for dinner...it was very spicy and very good. The Mayan tortillas were amazing! Service was good as well.

Le Zebra restaurant is located on the sea side in Tulum, where most of the eco hotels and restaurants are. The property is quite large and kid friendly. On Sunday night when we were there, there was a salsa instruction and band happening, which made for a festive atmosphere. The food is delicious and the specialty cocktails are also quite... More

All of the food was great and compared to neighboring restaurants was reasonably priced. I loved the ceviche, shrimp tacos, and the breakfast! Try the reefer madness smoothie and huevos rancheros. Stay way from the Papaya Margarita (in my opinion), but the pina colada was delicoius! Great location too!!

Don't get me wrong this is still a beautiful, ocean front location. They still offer salsa lessons and live music on Sunday which is fun. The drink prices went way up. The menu has changed and prices went way up. It was impossible to contact them by phone to make reservations. When we arrived 60% of the tables were empty... More

La Zebra is pretty far south on the beach road in Tulum. But its definitely worth it to go there. The staff are very friendly and laid-back. While there's a little sign saying you need to spend $500 pesos to use their shaded lounges, they don't hassle you at all. And while the food is kind of expensive, its more... More
