Make this " the nice dinner" of your trip. So worth it. Must have reservations or you will be waiting for quite a while. Ask for the outside table in front of the window as it is the best spot in the house. The food is delicious, we had the special and were not disappointed. The cost wasn't bad ,... More

Had a great meal recently at this small restaurant, away from the Pueblo (Tulum town) main street. The mexican, grilled food, was simple, fresh and delicious! My friend and I both had the arracherra with a potato, grilled onions and guacamole and chips for an appetizer. The guac was deliciously prepared. The totopos (salsa chips) were light, not greasy, and... More

Affordable price, great meals and fast service. They have always mainteined quality in this years improving the menu. Ti is specialized in steak, that is great. All the other meals are good but not special as "arrachera", so i suggest to go for that! At Your arrive they will bring you same cups of sauces to enjoy with your meals, try the white... More

My husband and I usually get the awesome steak tacos, but this time we wanted a burger. We were not disappointed! We are Texans living in Tulum and El Asasdero is at the top of our favorite restaurant list. Great service and always awesome food!

There is one reason and one reason only to eat dinner here- the fantastic Arrachera. Tender, flavorful, perfect sear. How I wish I could eat it daily! Tip- ask to be seated close to the sidewalk or on the sidewalk as when they are busy, the exhaust fans seem to have trouble keeping up, and the restaurant fills with delicious... More

Get there early for dinner to avoid the wait. The four sauces were amazing. My boo ate the white yogurt-ish sauce with a spoon. The Aracherra was perfectly seasoned and cooked (get the Argentinian sausage with it- it's to die for).

Have been here, twice, on two separate trips. Steak was fabulous, and properly prepared. Red wine sangria very good. Service was also good. Best seats are on the sidewalk - it can get a little warm inside. Will definitely go, again, our next time there.

Went there on our first evening at Tulum. Very friendly and hard working staff, nice Mexican wine, best salsa sauce, very delicious steak. Planned to go back for dinner on Christmas Eve, but they were closed for that day and Christmas Day. We had to leave Tulum on the 26th. Too bad for us. Wish all the best to its... More

The chips and four sauces are special. Some of the taco dishes are quite good. As Tulum has lost many fine restaurants in the past year, this restaurant looms larger in terms of quality.
