Restaurant “La Siesta” is located in Tulum downtown, in the beautiful Riviera Maya. Surrounded by a luxuriant garden, La Siesta is a cozy and romantic place. The wide space can host big groups, organize birthdays and private parties as well business dinners and work groups. Our cuisine is simple but international, using only fresh ingredients and natural products and offering affordable prices. Our “pasta” is daily homemade: lasagna, fettuccine, ravioli and gnocchi. The fish and the local seafood (caught daily): lobsters, shrimps and a wide range of seafood that you can also taste in our famous “paella”.And the meat in the typical Mexican and Argentinean cuts, naturally grilled or tasted with the peculiar recipes of our menu.Last but not least the great pizza, obviously cooked in the wood stove. All the menu can match with our varied wine cellar, a refreshing beer or a special cocktail. We also offer the home delivery service from 1 pm to 11 pm; no extra charge in downtown and 20 pesos for each delivery for the hotels located on Tulum beach.

Great Atmosphere and Pizza

We have heard about this place and finally got to go. The service was great and so was the food. My dad is a vegan and they made him a pizza he loved! Everyone who worked there was so friendly. The atmosphere was also really neat. It's set in a garden like area with beautiful trees and the music... read more

We live in Tulum part time and we think this is the best pizza in Tulum - great atmosphere great service but best of all great Pizza. Can't vouch for anything but pizza but definitely worth the stop if you are in town.

Great Service, great setting, increíble Italian food! A friend and local from Tulum recommended this spot for me. Tried it early on in my trip and loved it so much I had to go back! Carlos and Roberto took great care of us. I was so happy I had to peek in the kitchen and tell the cook how much... More

The place is ok and their pizza is not really bad but the owner, an italian woman with really bad behavior will treat you however she wants, specially if you ask for an invoice! The worst experience I ever had

Fresh pasta. The pesto shrimp with gnocchi is the best in town. Comfortable garden setting with relaxed but responsive wait staff. One of our favorite places in Tulum.

We stopped in one afternoon for a late lunch. The grouper filet with garlic was really good. Lots of fresh garlic and reasonable price! Hubby enjoyed a thin crust margarita pizza. Service was good but we were the only ones there. We'll definitely return and try pasta.

They are not on main street in Tulum and have little higher prices than many restaurants on main street. So we expected better meals and service. But food was Ok for hungry persons, nothing else and service also average. Even pizza oven didn't work. Maybe for dinner is better chef and waiter.

Great, friendly service from Carlos and good food. The waiter spoke good English and an English menu, so this was the first time I didn't have to take a stab in the dark with the food since arriving. The chipotle beef is highly recommended.

My family recently visited Tulum and chanced upon La Siesta. The menu posted outside drew us in and the sesame encrusted salmon was delicious (if a tad too packed with sesame seeds). The wait staff are great and many of them are Italian. The food is genuinely Italian and delicious. The owner is a dear lady who comped us home... More

Nice open kitchen where they make there own pasta and pizza by hand. Cheap and delicious. We can recommend.
