Description: Restaurant “La Siesta” is located in Tulum downtown, in the beautiful Riviera Maya. Surrounded by a luxuriant garden, La Siesta is a cozy and romantic place. The wide space can host big groups, organize birthdays and private parties as well business dinners and work groups. Our cuisine is simple but international, using only fresh ingredients and natural products and offering affordable prices. Our “pasta” is daily homemade: lasagna, fettuccine, ravioli and gnocchi. The fish and the local seafood (caught daily): lobsters, shrimps and a wide range of seafood that you can also taste in our famous “paella”.And the meat in the typical Mexican and Argentinean cuts, naturally grilled or tasted with the peculiar recipes of our menu.Last but not least the great pizza, obviously cooked in the wood stove. All the menu can match with our varied wine cellar, a refreshing beer or a special cocktail. We also offer the home delivery service from 1 pm to 11 pm; no extra charge in downtown and 20 pesos for each delivery for the hotels located on Tulum beach.

Great, friendly service from Carlos and good food. The waiter spoke good English and an English menu, so this was the first time I didn't have to take a stab in the dark with the food since arriving. The chipotle beef is highly recommended.

My family recently visited Tulum and chanced upon La Siesta. The menu posted outside drew us in and the sesame encrusted salmon was delicious (if a tad too packed with sesame seeds). The wait staff are great and many of them are Italian. The food is genuinely Italian and delicious. The owner is a dear lady who comped us home... More

Be careful when ordering pizza for delivery from this restaurant - I ordered 4 pizzas, we confirmed the order and address but after 1.5 hrs of waiting the pizza was never delivered . We called and they told us that that the pizzas were not going to be delivered. Poor customer service. They don't seem to have a problem lying... More

Dear customer, We apologize for our lack of service; delivery is our must since we opened 4 years ago. It’s really hard find a department as yours, when customers don’t know or can’t explain the correct address. Tulum has a plenty of dark streets, without number or name. Even taxi drivers have a lot of problems to find the apartments... More

The pizza is really tasty, the pastas are great, the bear is cheap but mostly the service is slow even if the place is not full.

My mom and I had dinner here two nights out of the ten days we were in Tulum. The first visit we had Hawaiian pizza and Caesar salad. Both we perfect! The pizza is thin crust done in the brick oven, not burnt at all, toppings were fresh and it tasted like heaven! The Caesar salad was super good, made... More

Friendly attentive staff, reasonable prices, extensive menu choices and best of all great tasting food. The portions are generous, esp the calzone which was absolutely huge.

Best Italian food in Tulum. We have eaten here year after year. Great wine selection for the region. The brochette is to die for. Wear bug spray, lots of mosquitoes. Great atmosphere for supper off the main strip. Above average service for the region.

Good place to have a good meal, especially if you feel like eating pizza or pasta. It is downtown and prices are good.
