Vegetarian friendly

Really good Mexican food! We stumbled upon this place after our Tulum tour. Warning the salsa is spicy, but that is how I like it. I couldn't get enough of it! We also really enjoyed the guacamole, black beans, and melted cheese. The black beans are vegetarian and they make the nachos with them... read more

Food was good, service was good, bathrooms very clean. The sauce that is brought to the table was different from anything I've ever seen or tasted. I couldn't get enough of the garlic, potatoes, peppers, and carrots and cinnamon. My husband said I shouldn't worry about any vampires because of all the garlic I ate. Caramel frappuchino was good too!

Great guacamole. The free escabeche is awesome. Prices slightly higher since it's the main drag, but well worth it. I can't wait to go for breakfast.

They seem to have lots of live music at different times of day. A good place to people watch. Love their pot of veggies that they bring to the table, included in the price, featuring carrots, half a garlic bulb and some silly-hot chillies. Yeowww. Good service and large portions. Had fruit, yoghourt and granola and it was an enormous... More

A year ago, I titled my review of this restaurant, "Complimentary pickled vegetables worth it in themselves.” And that's still true. But the food is also good, if not great, and the prices very reasonable--much more so than in the hotel zone. And there was a musical trio (keyboards, bass, and congas, and voices) who were very enjoyable. The staff... More

We had lunch here after walking through the ruins nearby. The service was excellent and the food was very good - Filete Veracruz and Chili Relleno. Cheap too. I'd definitely go back.

Recommended by a tourist advisor we took the advise and were glad we did. We were seated quickly, offered service with a smile and great food, prepared quickly, nice environment, outside umbrella, dining al fresco, and hot tasty food. We had brunch, consisting of guacamole, chicken tacos, one breakfast egg, pancake, protein selection and fajitas beef with onion and green... More

You know a restaurant is good when it's full of locals and you stare at the food as you walk past the tables...at least that is what I did. The guacamole, nachos and pickled vegetables for starter were really tasty. My main was delicious and also generous quantity of food. The service is fast and they are very friendly. There... More

Ate at Don Cafeto while staying in Tulum and had a great fish soup. It was really closer to the bar-b-que shrimp at New Orlean's Pascal's Manale, a la Mexico. It was more of a stew than the soup described in the menu. We also had the whole fish, Red Snapper. Very good and very filling.
