Great hang out place

If you just want to hang out, have a beer, and have some good fish tacos, this is the place! It's not on the water but that makes it a bit more mellow. The fish tacos are solid. Not sure that they are the "best in the world" but they are quite good. Breakfast is also very good.

Walking into this restaurant is like walking into a childhood dream of a pirate ship...a very friendly one! You can climb the planks to a view of surrounding Tulum, drink fresh margaritas while listening to local bands, and eat the most succulent coconut shrimp on the planet while being catered to by friendly and fun staff. Totally awesome!!!!!!!!

We had our wedding welcome party here and were very impressed. We were looking for something casual and relaxing for our group. The ceviche was amazing and the margaritas were great. Awesome view for the sunset too.

we liked this busy spot. vibes, music, food--all good. the waiter was very helpful. The fish tacos yummy. The lit mosquitos coils under our table and that was a bit toxic smelling but necessary.

Here now. Came here 5 people and ordered 4 fish tacos couple of ceviches and some cold pints. Cool vibe, reggae playing, parked in their free parking (parking is nuts in here so that's a bonus). No smoking section as well (with ashtrays in vase) and the wifi was hassle free. Servers are very attentive. The free salsa and chips... More

If you are looking for a nice place to have breakfast then Mateo's is good place. The regular food( lunch and dinner) was average. If you want good authentic Mexican food go into Tulum town but if you want a good happy hour this is the place to visit as they have a roof terrace and well priced drinks. They... More

All you need to do is order the fish tacos. They were delicious! Came here for lunch. Best meal I had and I had some great meals during my trip.

Nicely decorated Mexican place. Good prices, good food, good drinks and good environment (nice bands and you'll definitely feel you're in México). They have a parking lot just next to the bar/restaurant. I would say this place is a "must go", if you are in Tulum. You'll have a great view of the sunset from the upper floor. Watch out... More

What it says on the tin If you want a great bar, great food and brilliant service, then your here. A nice looking place with an upstairs sunset lounge. They have a tv in the corner out of the way of everyone if you want to watch some sport, which they happily found the Manchester City game for me one... More

Ate here twice while in the Tulum-Bocapaila area, Natural, outdoor seating. First time I had the Chicken Shikabob which was off the hook. Every type of tequila you can name and a very prompt and friendly staff. Miguel is adorable and friendly. Look for random iguanas :) Buy a Keep Tulum Weird T-shirt to support the animal shelter.
