When all the tradesmen roll in and order huge platters of seafood and huge beers, you know you are in the right place. If you are looking for a real experience this is where you want to go. Head South out of town as its right on the 307 but on the outskirts one of the last 10 places on... More

Dined with friends who live in the area. Directly accross from the hostel I stayed at, El Jardin de Frida. Had very respectable mixed Ceviche, slightly over limed, but generous portion (Grande) for three. Also Pescado Frito. Aka fried fish very good.

Very casual. Locals eat here. No frills and great flavors! Authentic local cuisine with freshly caught fish every day.

After visitng the cenote Sac Aktun, our driver dropped us off here. We should've kept walking. We were seated outside, and unfortunately sat next to their retail operation and the fry house. Constant noise of fishes being scaled, pounded and the smell of grease ended up so nauseating. The food was fair, but when the surroundings are so bad, there... More

this is a spot for tourists of all walks, from locals to gringos, the menu is big, the turnover is constant so the concern of getting a bad piece of seafood is less risky in my opinion, get the seafood ceviche or shrimp tacos

We spent an afternoon exploring the main town of Tulum last week during my stay, and had a great lunch at this restaurant. The seafood is fresh and delicious, and the selection of salsas and hot sauces and fresh guacamole were muy bueno. We especially loved the fresh tamarindo and horchata beverages to cool us down during the hot day.

You can find much better in Tulum. The food wasn't bad , but definitely not in our week's top 5. I did not see many locals here which was a first sign that it was overpriced for what you get

Delicious fresh seafood at moderate prices. Best garlic shrimp I have ever had. Not fine dining and a little out of the way, but clean, casual, and authentic. If you are in Tulum puebla, you need to have at least one dinner here.

The seafood is more than ample amounts for extremely cheap pricing, shrimp cocktail and garlic fish fillet was spectacular, you know your eating at the right restaurant in Tulum (or any city) when it's full of locals! And I don't know what the bull shark sympathizers are talking about? Because they don't serve shark, and the owner has no idea... More

Came here through word of mouth - if you want ceviche made from fresh caught fish, oysters, octupus - come here. Get there before lunch if you don't want to wait long. Portions are huge - the small ceviche was plenty for 2 people. I also got the octupus coctel. If you aren't familiar with the Mexican style coctel -... More
