Just ask for a small ceviche de pescado and you will immediately know you've come to the right place for seafood. Good quality, huge portions and low prices. What else could you ask for? Of course, a cold beer. Just pick your favorite.

I was extremely happy to find this place by coincidence on a family trip earlier this year. The octopus was very well cooked, not chewy or hard to eat at all; in my opinion, well-cooked octopus is one of the hardest finds anywhere you go and for me it speaks by itself of any seafood restaurant. Fried fish was excellent,... More

Me and my wife decided today, July 21st, after a long time, to walk again into el camello, after a not really exciting experience last year. Seing long queues everyday outside the place, convinced us that something must have changed in the quality of the food there (we were sooooo wrong). We ordered breaded fish tacos, breaded shrimp tacos and... More

Even my husband (self professed non-fan of ceviche) helped me devour my ceviche (word to the wise: a small is anything but). His octopus platter was to die for, and we also had some excellent breaded fried fish. Go when hungry.

This is the premier seafood restaurant in Tulum for one reason primarily: bang for your buck. The portions are very generous and the seafood is incredibly fresh and well-cooked. What else can I say? Just go! You won't regret it.

Great little local place. Want crab? They got it. Want octopus? Got that too. Wants fried fillet? No problem. Whole fried fish? Yup. Ceviche? Of course. Looking forward to going again.

had a stop here because the ceviche was highly recommended. It did not disappoint. The portions are huge so unless you and your best friend are starving, stay with the small or medium orders. Service was good, the atmosphere was plain. There was a large crowd there when we arrived, mostly locals, so the rest of the food must also... More

My deep fried whole fish deserves a 5 star review on its own. Cannot say the same about the rest of the food. My wife and friends ate tacos which they didn't like. They tried substituting a couple of ingredients but the waiter did not allow it therefor they had to eat something they didn't want. I would only go... More
