This is the place to go to in Tulum. Good seafood that is reasonably priced. The only drawback is you need to get there early as it is very popular and there seems to always be tons of people waiting. I got the seafood soup that was DIVINE. highly recommend! !

Our amazing Taxi driver Martin recommended this place when we told him we wanted lobster without paying through the nose! We had the shrimp tacos (eh..they were ok) and the lobster which was great! The place was totally packed at 2pm, and I can understand why. Locals and tourists alike love this place.

AMAZING ceviche! My son and I ordered the small ceviche and a plate of fried fish to share. We ended up asking to have our fish packaged to go since we were so full from just eating the ceviche and chips! He had a yummy horchata and I had a real Mexican Coca Cola. Highly recommend!

Our hotel (Nueva Vida de Ramiro in Tulum) recommended this place to us, and it was worth the wait for some great fish tacos.. yum!

Just ask for a small ceviche de pescado and you will immediately know you've come to the right place for seafood. Good quality, huge portions and low prices. What else could you ask for? Of course, a cold beer. Just pick your favorite.

I was extremely happy to find this place by coincidence on a family trip earlier this year. The octopus was very well cooked, not chewy or hard to eat at all; in my opinion, well-cooked octopus is one of the hardest finds anywhere you go and for me it speaks by itself of any seafood restaurant. Fried fish was excellent,... More

Me and my wife decided today, July 21st, after a long time, to walk again into el camello, after a not really exciting experience last year. Seing long queues everyday outside the place, convinced us that something must have changed in the quality of the food there (we were sooooo wrong). We ordered breaded fish tacos, breaded shrimp tacos and... More

Even my husband (self professed non-fan of ceviche) helped me devour my ceviche (word to the wise: a small is anything but). His octopus platter was to die for, and we also had some excellent breaded fried fish. Go when hungry.

This is the premier seafood restaurant in Tulum for one reason primarily: bang for your buck. The portions are very generous and the seafood is incredibly fresh and well-cooked. What else can I say? Just go! You won't regret it.
