The food and service at this place it's really good. Located on the south part of Tulum it's an ok place to go eat. The food comes out pretty fast but please just be aware that after the sun goes down there is an incredible amount of mosquitoes that will hide under the table and sting you over and over.... More

If you are looking to see where the locals go out to eat fresh fish, look no further than El Camello. We've been to this place many times and we are never disappointed. We order the garlic filet of fish and it comes in a huge portion with beans and rice and its simply delicious. The servicing is so large... More

A friend recommended this spot and it was definitely worth the bike ride into town. But note that it closes at 6 because we tried to go the night before only to find it was closed! The grande serving of ceviche was HUGE and enough for 5 of us. Didn't order anything else because we were too full after it.... More

The place is best known for its ceviche, which is truly great. But their whole fried fish is really tasty too. I highly recommend it. It goes great with an ice cold "chelada."

We actually ate here twice because it was so good. The line of people waiti g to get in was out the door. We ate seafood which was fresh with large portions. We had Grouper which was delicious. We did not leave hungry. They give you salsa and chips plus a choice of sauces...from mild to hot, hot, hot. We... More

We had lunch here on our day trip to Tulum. The staff was incredible and the food was very fresh, good & inexpensive. We didn't have the ceviche, but several around us did and it looked amazing. We'll have to try that next time. Overall great place.

Wife and I had seafood at El Camello Jr. I had the octopus which was perfectly prepared and not chewy like I have had in the past. It was super! Wife had the mixinxic fish dish which was good but not like mine. Highly recommended!

Remember to be there early as the kitchen shuts down at 9pm. Apart for that, the restaurant is strongly suggested: the fish is fresh and tasty, the atmosphere is everything you can expect from a true Mexican restaurant, the prices are overall cheap.

Loved the food! I got the fish filet with garlic. It was the most delicious fish and the veggies that came on the plate were amazing! My fiancé got the whole fried fish and that was also so flavorful. Word of caution - they stop serving tacos at 5pm so if you come after then there is nothing but seafood... More
