Good and fresh fish

It's just around the corner of the Main Street, typical Mexican and very simple restaurant, the service is very good and the food is fresh and delicious!!

El Camello (the Camel) was recommended to us by the local dive shop we used in Tulum. They said it was the best seafood in town and they were right. It's run by a local fishemans' co op and you can see the fish being brought in and cleaned in front of you. It was super cheap and tasty, especially... More

Great local joint downtown Tulum! Really excellent ceviche and tacos. Get a table out front for a great breeze and a spot to see folks walking by.

The ceviche (we had shrimp) here is fantastic and the portion is humongous. Stick with the chico portion if you plan on getting other items. Speaking of which, skip the tacos. They were poor. Excellent jamaica and a wonderful complementary refined beans purée rounded out a really solid lunch. Just skip the tacos!

Meals are cheap with large portions. I wouldn't travel over from beach area to eat here or anything, but if you are in Tulum town then it's worth stopping by. Just a nice local place.

This place is good, not great but good. Standard Mexican food. Good ceviche, fair but plain fish tacos, no flavorings, sauces or spices added.. The price is cheap so its hard to complain but there are better options in Tulum for Mexican food. Closed Wednesdays???

Amazing food, a typical Mexican 'mariscos' restaurant. Every single thing on the menu is excellent!!! We ate here every day of our vacation!

A short taxi ride from our hotel on the beach and one of most popular restaurants in downtown Tulum. Packed with locals and tourists...our order was taken and delivered rather quickly. Shrimp in a garlic sauce was quite filling and accompanied by chips and salsa sauces that are standard. Mayan spices and salsa very good. Also margaritas are great here.

My favorite place to eat in Tulum. Delicious, fresh seafood and great margaritas. The very best ceviche I have ever had! Try the grilled fish with garlic.
