Went looking for dinner in Tulum after a day at the ruins (truly spectacular) and a Casa Cenote (really interesting). We arrived at 6pm and found we were one of only two tables occupied outside. The view was very nice and the staff was friendly. It took 25 minutes to get our drink order put in (it's Mexico-I don't mind... More

They have very good fish & chips. They also have seafood, pizza and pastas. But for me the best was the fish & chips. Make sure to bring enough cash: the last time I was there they didn't take credit or debit cards. Sometimes there are mayan women selling their hand embroidered blouses, which make great souvenirs. I've also seen... More

We loved the great Ambiente in Restaurant Zamas, the sea, the village Tulum, the people. All is fine. The waiters are maybe a bit lazy, but thats ok in the caribe ;)

We stayed at Zamas hotel for 4 nights over Easter, meaning we ate at the restaurant frequently. The restaurant itself is really well located, right on the beach. In the evenings, they have a local band which was great to sit and listen to - definitely recommended! We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here, and whilst the food was of... More

We spent a week in Tulum and tried a different restaurant every day for lunch & dinner, and Zamas had the best tacos in town -- fresh, simple, and delicious. Take a walk up the beach and stop in for lunch, and you can sit outside and watch the waves come in.

Had breakfast here as it came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. The huevos rancheros are amazing! The restaurant has a great view- It's located right on the beach so great for a dip after breakfast and at night, clear skies means lots of stars everywhere and you can eat while you listen to the sounds of the ocean.... What's not to love about a place with good food where your wild toddlers can play in the sand while you eat?

We did not stay here, but we make a point to eat here every time we visit. Each time it's about 3/4 of the way through our stay in Mexico and it seems we're missing some good-old-fashioned greasy American food and Zamas' Danny Burger hits the spot. Seriously, I don't know if it's the fact that we've been eating tacos... More
