2 Hits 1 miss, but location hard to beat

My wife and I were thrilled with our first meal - we got the whole fish as the time we had it on our previous trip it was spectacular. This time it was just as spectacular. 2nd time we went for breakfast ALSO spectacular. third time the whole fish we had was clearly not as fresh and we were... read more

We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at this restaurant. The view is the sole attraction of this restaurant with both open and covered tables with amazing views. The service always starts out strong but then tapers off so you have to periodically flag a waiter (whether the restaurant is busy or not). The menu is varied enough but very expensive... More

This is so beautiful of a place! I loved the location and the rooms... so romantic! I was able to have room in the back corner with an amazing view of the ocean. I loved the corners and how private it was all at!

In all fairness, we stopped only for a light supper and did not try more than a couple of dishes. The service was OK, but what we really enjoyed was sitting looking out at the small cove and beach. We needed bug spray as the mosquito's were out at dusk.

Perfect little beachside hotel, restaurant. Hung out for hours, enjoyed very fresh margaritas. Dinner was a freshly speared, whole fish.

As vegetarian travelers to mexico, we know that options are limited. However we were turned on to this gem of a spot just by the public beach in Tulum. Zamas is a hotel as well - but this review is just for the restaurant. First of all the view is spectacular. The seating is all along the beach and it's... More

This restaraunt is on the North end of the beach road in the first "village" and on a corner so you have a nice ocean view. Prices are not cheap, but they aren't in this area. I thought 90 pesos was expensive for guacamole but when it came out it was totally worth it. Lots of it and very tasty.... More

Visited this beautifully located restaurant three times and each time it was brilliant. We're all for trying authentic local food, but the cheeseburger and grouper-club sandwich were fantastic. The molten chocolate cake... To DIE for!! An absolute must for us.
