Me and my girlfriend visited Don Pepe on the last night of our stay in Tulum. We chose the place since we are big fan of tapas and also because we have read ALOT of positive reviews. The restaurant is owned by an old couple which people tends to describe as welcoming and overall nice. Unfortunately we saw none of... More

We go to Tulum many times a year and we always have Gloria and Don Pepe as a must go place on our list. It is very small, in town and maybe hard to find off the main drag but I has the best tapas and paella around. There will be no fancy NYT write ups on this place that... More

Stopped here at random. Restaurant is one block from the main road in the town. Tried the potatoes and calamari with aioli sauce, and it was delicious! Even better was the mixed paella dish we had. It is enough for two people. Keep in mind you do need to order the paella dishes for 2 people or more, and each... More

This place offers tapas and great looking paellas. The ability to have some small tapa dishes to share makes the eating experience more interesting. The flavours were original and the food delectable. Good place with character, slightly off the beaten path but nicely located for Tulum. Wine by the glass was a Spanish selection and not only well priced but... More

We went as a family of six and a little toddler. The setting was idillic on the street and the service was excellent. The food very authentic and tasty. The wines were also surprisingly good. It was a great experience. We ordered the sausage twice. The fish cooked wrapped in "holy leaf" was truly flavorful and tasty. The price was... More

Gracious owners with Delicious patatas bravas, Spanish tortilla and paella. Ask for the salsa picante. This place is a gem.

One of the best restaurants I've ever tryed in Mexico, a little spanish place, with an amazing paella and tapas. The wine was soo good and the prices very attractive. A must go in Tulum!

We were so lucky to happen upon this restaurant during our week at the beach in Tulum. Wonderful tapas, including garlic shrimp, chacuterie platter, patatas bravas, fried calamari and more! We loved it so much, we went back again two days later. The owners are gracious and welcoming and the food is fantastic!

The only place in Tulum centro that we returned to when visiting Tulum for a second time. Simple, tasty food, lovely local environment, just the right amount of laid back. Most delicious patatas bravas, could eat three plates of them. Spanish tortilla, just right. Preferred the old logo though!
