Tapas and tinto de verano

We had a nice dinner here during our stay in Tulum. Tapas were good, tinto de verano cold and service fast and friendly. There were no free tables when we arrived, but they just arrange one table and chairs from the storage for us to the pavement, that was very nice of them. The reason why it is... read more

We have a habit of eating here on our first night and our last night and nights in between every year. So this year, 3 visits to La Gloria de Don Pepe, wish we had more time to go again and again... However, we forgot that they close on a Monday, then the next night we were too late as... More

What an unbelievable place... The owners are such a sweet couple, always greeting us with warm hugs and gorgeous bottles of Rioja. We really enjoyed the Spanish food in this lovely little place run by a friendly Catalan owner. The food was high quality and delicious, and relatively inexpensive.

A wonderful little find - We were looking for something light to finish up the day with, and this place was great. Tapas were very tasty, service was great and it was priced reasonably. It is a very small place and it falls more under the rustic side of things, but that is definitely part of the charm.

We happened upon this restaurant in Tulum and had a great lunch, couscous salad and an Italian salad. The Jamaica juice was amazing too. So for dinner go next day we went back and had an amazing paella that reminded us of Valencia earlier on our travels. The best bit was fighting over the charred bits on the bottom of... More
